Chapter 1433 No Second Chances

Mary over to the pediatrics department. Seeing the child's feverish, flushed face, the doctor quickly

prepared the medicine and injected her with it.

Sasha talked gibberish during her high fever, pleading with her mom and dad to stop fighting. It was

Half an hour after the doctor gave Sasha the injection, her high fever gradually subsided.

Charlotte asked Jessica to carry Sasha over to her ward to rest.

She then had another private conversation with Jessica. “Jess, you and Henry are husband and wife. If

you divorce, he might use Sasha to threaten you for his benefit. Don't get involved in this. I'll handle it.”

“If I don't make that b*stard pay, I might as well spell my name backward!” She said coldly, her eyes

filled with fierce determination.

Henry and his mistress hid their address very well in Baykeep. It was beyond Charlotte's current

abilities to find them. However, Genevieve's granddad was well-known in Baykeep.

An hour later, Charlotte changed and left the hospital to seek help from Genevieve.

After Genevieve found out about Henry's affair and domestic abuse against her and Jessica, she

headed off to Baykeep to visit her granddad alongside Charlotte.

Genevieve's uncle, Felix, was an important man in Baykeep. It was a matter of minutes for his

secretary to request an address from the Ministry of Transport.

Knowing that Genevieve had arrived in Baykeep, Felix sent his driver to the airport to pick them up

since the weather was bad.

On the way to the mistress' house, Genevieve asked Charlotte, “So, you just want to give her a good

beating? I think Henry is even worse. If Henry had gotten a grip of himself, he wouldn't have fallen for

the mistress at the drop of a hat.”

Charlotte pressed her pale lips together, “Of course, I won't let him off the hook. But that mistress'

mother stole Jess' jewelry. I have to get it back. She's not allowed to take anything that belongs to my

sister!”

As the two were chatting, the car pulled to a stop at an upscale mansion area in Baykeep.

The security in this residential area was extremely tight, not allowing outside vehicles to enter.

However, as soon as the guard at the security booth saw the credentials the driver presented, his

Charlotte said, “I'm glad you're here. Otherwise, even with the address, I wouldn't have been able to

All the mansions in Building C were designed with two elevators for each residential unit. As soon as

the elevator doors opened, Charlotte could hear voices coming from a nearby unit, the main door of

which was wide open.

Charlotte briskly walked into the unit, only to find Sophia, the mistress' mother, playing toy blocks with a

child in the living room.

The little boy was about two years old, with a round head and chubby cheeks. Occasionally, he would

call out to Sophia, addressing her as Grandma. When he lifted his head, Charlotte noticed that he

slightly resembled her brother-in-law, Henry.
