Chapter 546 Mixed Feelings
The atmosphere inside the car was very heavy.
As Colin finished his words, Robert met Colin's eyes in the rear view mirror. Robert was about to say
"No", but he dared not say it.
Colin asked, "No?"
Robert answered, steeling himself, "I'll see what I can do."
After hearing this, Colin pinched between the eyebrows with his fingertips. "Do it as soon as possible,
and don't let Mrs. Farrell find anything unusual."
Robert said, "Got it."
Although Robert said "Got it", he had mixed feelings in his heart. He thought, "I am asked to do
something the boss can't do himself. It is so tragic for me."
Robert suddenly felt that being sent to units in other areas was not a terrible thing.
But he only dared to think these words in his mind rather than actually say them.
Robert drove at a constant speed. He felt sorry for himself for a while and then asked, "Mr. Farrell,
where are we going now?"
"Go home."
"Okay."
Robert held the steering wheel and turned the car around.
But as soon as he turned the car around, Colin said, "Don't go home. Go to the company."
Robert, who had turned the car around, was speechless.
If Robert remembered correctly, it was a one-way street.
Faye took Carlotta to choose a store in a good location and they were about to sign the contract. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
Carlotta looked at the contract handed over by the house agent, but she didn't dare to take it. She
whispered to Faye, "I don't know much about contracts."
Faye said, "Give it to me."
Faye took the contract from the house agent and looked it over to make sure there was no problem.
Then Faye put the contract in front of Carlotta and handed Carlotta a pen. "Carlotta, there is no
problem with the contract. Just sign it."
Then Carlotta took the pen and signed her name on the contract without much thought.
When Carlotta finished signing the contract, the agent smiled. "In all my time as a house agent, I've
never seen a buyer as straightforward as you."
Carlotta sensed something wrong in the house agent's words, "Buyer?"
The house agent was stunned and looked at Faye.
Faye said, "I need to talk to my aunt alone."
The house agent understood and stood up with a smile. "Okay. I leave you two to talk and I'll go
through the contract process."
As the house agent left, Carlotta looked at Faye in astonishment. "Didn't we agree to rent this place
before we came here?"
Faye smiled. "It's not cost-effective to rent it."
Carlotta frowned. "Is it expensive to buy it?"
"It's not expensive."
"How much?"
Faye smiled. "I'll tell you the exact amount when you start to make a profit."
Carlotta pressed her lips together and said nothing.
Carlotta regretted that she didn't take a closer look when she signed the contract.
If Carlotta knew it was a purchase contract, she wouldn't have signed it.
Seeing Carlotta's worried look, Faye stretched out a hand to pat on the back of Carlotta's hand.
"Carlotta, don't have any psychological burden. When you start to make a profit, I will ask you to pay in
regular monthly installments."
Carlotta looked back at Faye with mixed feelings. "Faye, you don't have to..."
Carlotta bit back her words. Faye knew what Carlotta was thinking and squeezed her hand. "Carlotta,
you're the only family I have left in the world."
Carlotta's eyes were red-rimmed at Faye's words.
Faye said, "Isn't it right for the family to help each other?"
After leaving the agency, Faye accompanied Carlotta to the bridal shop.
The bridal shop was the one Jadon had decided to go to in advance. But because he had a temporary
surgery today, he couldn't be with Carlotta in person.
At first, Jadon was worried that Carlotta would be angry because he didn't have time. After all, Jadon
saw the young people in the department do this when they were in a relationship. Unexpectedly, not
only was Carlotta not angry, she asked Jadon to focus on work.
Faye drove Carlotta to the bridal shop, and as soon as they entered the shop, Jadon phoned Carlotta.
Carlotta took out her phone and pressed the answer button. Jadon asked, "Have you arrived at the
bridal shop?"
"Yes."
"Don't try on the wedding dress. Wait for me. I'll be right there."
Carlotta was shocked to hear that. "Don't you have a temporary surgery to do?"
Jadon replied with a smile, "I had a colleague do it for me."
Carlotta was at a loss for words.
Jadon said in a deep voice, "Compared to those young people, we have missed for many years. And
now I don't want to miss anything about you, let alone such an important thing as trying on a wedding
dress."
Although Jadon's voice was separated from the telephone, it was sexy. Then Carlotta's face reddened
to the ears. Glancing out of the corner of her eyes at Faye, who was selecting a wedding dress,
Carlotta was shy to answer Jadon's words.
Faye was not satisfied after seeing several wedding dresses. When she was about to ask the clerk if
there were any unique treasures in the shop, the phone in her pocket vibrated twice.
Faye pulled out her phone and glanced at the screen. Her eyes darkened.
Hank, "Faye, do you have a minute? Can we meet up?"
