Rihanna snapped her gaze back to Damien who was oddly quiet about his employees behavior towards her..

“did you see that Damien? that lady just disrespected me.. fire her!”

Damien sighed and returned back to his seat, if it were to be in his power, he’d have done so without batting an eyelid but since his mum got herself involved, he’d rather tolerate Olivia’s ill mannered behavior than disrespect his mum..

“Just ignore her..”

Rihanna’s lips parted in disbelief, ignore her? that lady just insulted her and he asked her to let go?? she shot him an interrogative stare..

Damien inhaled deeply and raised his head to look at her..

“Rihanna I told you already, ignore her.. she’s a new employee”

Olivia sighed in relief and got up to stretch her body, that was the moment she realized that she was the only one left in the large room..

She picked her phone up and saw several missed calls from Bianca and her mum..

Packing her things swiftly into her bag, she dashed out of the room..

Few minutes later she found her way out of the building, she stopped her movement when her phone rang out..

“Hi Bianca.. what? who gave him my location? hello!” She stared down at her phone, Bianca disconnected the call..

A black Rolls Royce stopped in front of her, she stepped back feeling the chilly gaze coming from the car..

“I thought you’d be spending the night in the building given the pile of work that was on your desk earlier”

Olivia rolled her eyes hard at him, who knew that she would meet him here also?

“I couldn’t finish it all.. I’ll continue tomorrow morning, I have a sick father to take care of” Olivia lied..

Damien’s brows furrowed, how dare she? he made an attempt to step out of the car when another car rolled up next to his..

A smile played on Olivia’s lips as soon as she saw the other car that pulled over, she hurriedly walked to it and hopped in afterwards..

She sighed in relief when their car finally joined the highway..

“My mum told you didn’t she?” she glanced at the figure on the driver’s seat..

The young lad smiled at her and gave a nod “She did, how was your first day at work?”

Olivia sighed and looked out through the glass, if Damien wasn’t trying to pick on her tonight she doubted if she’d have ever accepted a ride from Jacob..

Jacob was one of the numerous men her mum had set her up with on blind dates, he was the only adamant one who refused to leave her life alone..

“Are you upset with me?”

“I don’t need you looking after me Jacob, my mum is just being concerned that’s all.. you should also understand that and lastly Kelvin doesn’t like you neither do I!”

The car came to an abrupt halt, Olivia who forgot to put on her seatbelt lounged forward, she snapped her head to the man who was glaring daggers at her..

“What? did I say something wrong?”

Jacob caught her chin in his hand and leaned forward to her..

“Can’t you see how much I truly care for you? to hell with your son, once we become an official couple we can send him abroad or send him to an orphanage..

No sooner had the word dropped before he was slapt twice by Olivia, and this was the exact reason she had warned him to stay away from she and her son..

“Don’t you dare say that to my face again.. otherwise I won’t go easy on you!” She gave her strict warning before stepping out of the car..

He wanted her son at the orphanage? she really didn’t plan to settle down with anyone, all she wanted was to give her son the best life he could possibly have..

She hailed down a cab and got in, he just ruined her mood even more than it already was..

Olivia turned on the lights immediately she stepped into her apartment, she tapped her chin slightly everywhere was oddly quiet which meant her mischievous son was on it again..

“Boo!!”

Olivia who was startled at first turned swiftly to find the culprit laughing hard at her expression..

“I got you again mummy.. you were so scared!” He remarked throwing himself into her wide open arms..

She planted a kiss on his forehead “You’ve managed to relieve me of my stress.. how do you do it?”

Kelvin held her face in his small hands, he tilted his head to the side..

“It’s a secret mummy.. very soon you won’t have to stress yourself anymore”

Olivia creased her brows with a small smile, she stroked his hair tenderly..

“Really? do you have a plan?”

Kelvin nodded “of course I do.. if I eventually find a new handsome daddy you won’t have to stress yourself anymore”

The smile on Olivia’s face froze, a new daddy? she pulled him into her arms..

“We don’t need any one else okay?”

Kelvin nodded his head with his fingers crossed behind his back, he smiled mischievously, of course he wasn’t a fool not to know what his mum passes through just to cater for every of his needs..

“You’re back Olivia” Bianca who just walked in with two bag filled with groceries murmured..

She walked into the kitchen and placed both of the bags into the sink before joining the mother and son who were having a little chic chat..

Damien walked into his living room and frowned hard when he saw his mum, dad and sister having a hearty meal in his dining area..

He dropped his briefcase on the sofa and started walking towards them..

“Oh look he’s back!” Anita exclaimed patting the empty seat next to her..

Damien’s gaze remained indifferent, honestly he wasn’t so surprised that they were here, nothing they do surprises him anyone..

“So you all decided to have dinner in my house without informing me? you’re intruding my personal space”

Aldrin looked up to his son and scoffed “Aren’t we a family? your question is so ridiculous son.. sit and join us for dinner”

Damien reluctantly took a seat next to his mum who already started dishing out his meal for him..

Alexa casted him a glance when she felt his gaze on her..

“Do you have a problem with your eyes big bro?” She asked with a brow raised..

Damien pulled his gaze off her with a loud huff, and here was his younger sister who is always in a bad mood..

“I heard your new car was smashed.. care to explain what happened to it?”

Alexa dropped her cutlery harshly on the table “Please! I’m in a bad mood don’t try to make me feel worse”

She stood up from her seat glaring down at her mum who was about to scold her and probably lecture her on how to be respectful and all that..

“Don’t try to scold me mum! I clearly told you all that I’m in a bad mood.. why can’t you all just let me be?!”

Damien reached for his phone in his pocket and brought it out, he excused himself and walked farther away from his family..

“You found her?” He asked in shock and disbelief..

“Yes boss!”

He took a glance behind him “Send me her location immediately!”
