Chapter 19
Chapter 19
"Do you know the owners of the two hair samples that you sent me?" Dr. Wace asked.
"Yes! These samples belong to my friends!" Yazlynn lied in a hurry. Of course, she couldn't say that they belonged to her boss. She must keep this matter confidential.
"Oh yes, the DNA report shows that they are father and son," the doctor answered casually.
Yazlynn's eyes became wide. What? The little guy yesterday and the boss were...
Father and son?
Oh my! When did the boss have a son?
This was some earth-shattering news!
"Dr. Wace, are you sure this is the correct report? Did you take the wrong one?" Yazlynn questioned him in detail.
"Yes, this is the correct report," the doctor replied.
Yazlynn took the report quickly and held it tightly in her arms. She walked swiftly in her high-heeled sandals. She was eager to depart from the hospital.
Yazlynn went out of the door with the report. She walked to her car and drove to the company quickly.
She was utterly dumbfounded for a period of time. All the women in the country wanted to have children with her boss. Yazlynn didn't know who the little guy's mother was, however, this woman had secretly given birth to a son, and the baby was now already a little boy!
Yazlynn was really curious, but on second thought, did the woman already know that the child's father was her boss? In that case, did the woman deliberately allow the child to stage an appearance in the company? Did she ask him on purpose to pull out his hair and ask her boss to conduct a DNA test?
If this was the case, this woman was quite scheming. If her son was indeed her boss's son, she would undoubtedly emerge victorious in life.
Yazlynn was quite impressed by this woman's schemes!
After Yazlynn's car stopped in the garage, she rushed to the elevator and pressed the button to her boss's office.
She looked at the report in her hand. She began to wonder what her boss's expression would be when he found out about this later. She thought that the boss's usual poker face and aloof demeanor would definitely be shaken!
She was looking forward to his reaction!
Stepping down from the elevator, Yazlynn bumped into another assistant. Yazlynn asked, "Where is our boss right now?"
"Our boss is having a meeting in the conference room."
Yazlynn pondered if she should tell him the shocking news, or wait for him in the office.
Yazlynn was aware of Augustine's rules. It was better for her to put the report on his desk first, and wait for the meeting to end, rather than interrupting it.
It was eleven o'clock when she finally saw Augustine walking down the corridor. He had a commanding air and noble demeanor. All his movements were authoritative and dignified. He was
intimidating indeed.
Yazlynn immediately got up and stood in front of him. "Boss, I've carried out the task that you instructed me to complete yesterday."
Augustine frowned as if he had forgotten about this matter. He asked in a low voice, "What was the matter about?"
"The DNA test you asked me to send for testing, Sir. Have you forgotten about this?" she said.
Augustine recalled this matter and he raised his sword-shaped eyebrows. It seemed that he already knew the answer, but he had no expectations. "Oh! How are the results?"
"I... I didn't inquire about it. Please have a look at the report yourself!" After saying that, she handed the documents to Augustine with both hands.
Augustine stretched out his hand and took the file. He strode directly into his office.
Yazlynn wanted to follow him, but she stopped in her tracks. After all, no matter how curious she was, she could not inquire about the boss's private matters.
At this time, a female assistant next to her asked curiously, "What documents did you just give to the boss?"
"Nothing. Just an urgent document," Yazlynn didn't dare to tell the truth. This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Augustine walked into his office and sat on the leather sofa. His long legs were crossed and his handsome eyebrows were knitted together tightly. Looking at the file, he laughed derisively.
Unexpectedly, Augustine had actually executed such an unnecessary matter. He was certain that this little guy wasn't his son, but he still sent the hair to be tested anyway.
Now that the report was out, he would at least have to take a look at it before throwing it away.
