Mistake with the Alpha

"I'm not John. You've already made your choice and I allowed you. Then what else do you want from me?" I asked angrily.

This guy is getting me so irritated. I don't understand the reason he has to let himself be a great disturbance to my peaceful life. "No Sam, I didn't choose anyone over you. It's you I love and I can't let you go" he said pulling me closer.

I had the intention that if he forces me to kiss him again, I'll bite his tongue off and even though he heals, he'll surely feel the pain. "I'm not interested and I don't love you" I snapped.

"You love the alpha right?" He asked suddenly.

That's a question I haven't asked myself. Him asking me now makes my heart flutter. I then begin to think about it.

"You love him Sam," Crystal told me.

"I do?" I asked her to be sure.

"You know I feel everything you feel and I know I'm deeply in love with him" she said to me.

"So I'm right?" He asked me with a disappointed look.

"Who I love is none of your business John. Stay away from me" I shouted.

I love the unhappy look on his face.

"The alpha is bound to find a mate and I'm sure it isn't you. So don't cheapen yourself Sam" he said.

I felt so disgusted at what he said. I then land a slap on his face.

"How dare you talk to me like that!" I blurted out foaming with anger." You did your worst and I accepted it with you. What do you want from me? You want to make me your s*x doll or what?" I asked glaring at him.

I felt like pulling off his heart and pounding it into a mortal. He held the cheek that I slapped and looked at me glaringly. I know he didn't expect me to do that. He thought I'm still the Sam who is with so much inferiority complex. I was shocked.

"Don't you dare talk to me ever in your life. If you do I'll try all my best possible to retain you in the dusk" I threatened.

John looked at me fearfully. He knew if the alpha hears of him pursuing and trying to get me back, I'll surely with him and me mentioning the dusk, it can happen. The dusk is a place where all the warriors fear the most.

It is a place where they can't show their prowess but just guard a bunch of people who can't defend themselves in the pack. It is always a punishment to tell a warrior to go guard them, it downgrades their reputation. When I saw that he couldn't say anything, I started to walk away.

"I'll be here when the alpha will dump you soon. Then you wouldn't be able to come to me anymore" he said after me.

I paused and looked at him." When that time happens, I'll rather die than to come to you to be consoled." I said and then walked away.

As I was going, I met the alpha blood Drey. It was as if he was waiting for someone. When he saw me, he stood straight. I pray him too wasn't here to ask me out because I'm not in any way ready to leave Jaylen for anyone.

"Hi," he said with a bright smile.

"Hi," I replied.

I don't even know how to greet him. He's not my alpha so I can't bow.

"What's your name?" He asked me.

I was wondering why he was asking. He saw me with the alpha the other time and I'm sure Jaylen made much impression about us that won't make him want to trespass. I on the other hand wouldn't want to bring war between the lycans and us. Forget that our alpha is a lycan hybrid, we will still suffer. I want to avoid anything that will make them say it was Sam that brought war.

I glared at him.

"Wait, let's talk," he said with a commanding tone.

"You are not my alpha so when you have anything to say to me you'll be polite about it" I said firmly.

I didn't even know where I got the confidence to talk to a lycan alpha blood like that. They are ten times stronger than us. I don't care about the punishment he's going to give me as an individual. I care so much about Jaylen's uncontrollably anger and its consequences.

"You won't take that tone with me girl!" He also retorted.

His alpha voice made me cower but I didn't overreact.

"I'm trying to save you here girl" he said.

I rolled my eyes with unbelief." From what if I may ask?"

"From your alpha. You shouldn't fall in love with him" he said blankly.

I eyed him. I don't know why he is doing this, I know he's not doing it for free. He must definitely want something.

"With all due respect, it's none of your business sir" I said and walked away.

"I don't think it's a good idea to return to the party" he called at my back.
