Master Odell’s Secret Ex-wife

Chapter 1778

Chapter 1778

John smirked and teased her, “Clumsy, aren’t you?” Sherry did not utter a word.

Scumbag!

“Get your hands off me!” she snapped suddenly.

John continued pressing the back of her head, completely unfazed by her outburst. “Were you hurt?” Sherry’s felt her cheeks growing red hot. “No!”

John smiled, “Alright then, good.”

Sherry clenched her jaw and repeated sharply, “Let go!” Or else, she was going to beat him up!

“Okay,” John said as he pressed her toward him.

Sherry felt her weight shifting forward, and in an instant, it seemed like she was zooming in on John’s eyes. She felt the softness of his lips pressing against hers. The warmth and tender texture of his lips sent a wave of electric shock through her.

It took her a moment before she fully registered what was happening. Just as she was about to begin swinging her fists at John, he let go of her so that she could pull herself away.

She immediately snapped backward like a spring. Her heart was pounding incessantly, and her cheeks were flushed red. She had to take a moment to catch her breath before she hissed, “Go to the bathroom yourself!”

“Sure.” John spoke calmly, “Actually, | went before you woke up.”

Sherry was flabbergasted.

Then, why did he ask for her help back there?

Was it intentional just so he could mess with her?

John looked at her with a wide grin on his face, the smug type that implied he was fully aware of what he was doing. Sherry was furious and shouted, “You scumbag! Do you want me to break your legs?!”

John answered briskly, “Go ahead.”

Sherry was speechless.

Meanwhile, Caprice who was sitting on the couch the entire time looked on with amusement. Her head

was tilted to the side as she beheld their interaction with much confusion.

They were kissing only moments ago, so why were they fighting now?

Adults were so strange.

Sherry was fuming. She took Caprice and stormed out. She wanted to go out for a walk and get some breakfast on the way. They strolled around the area before they found a nice breakfast place. They ate there and stayed for a

while before they ordered a portion to go, then they began heading back to the hospital.

John’s ward was on the eighth floor.

Sherry took Caprice in her arms and stepped into the elevator. Soon, the elevator took them to the eighth.

floor.

As they stepped into the corridor, they noticed Jason, Nelson, and several bodyguards crowded by the ward entrance. There was another familiar figure among them. It was Peter. He approached Sherry when he noticed her.© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

He smiled warmly at her, “Good morning, ma’am.”

Sherry smiled at him and asked, “Why aren’t you going in?”

He must have rushed here when he found out about what happened to John.

Peter was about to say something when the door leading into the ward was flung open.

A figure dressed in bright yellow bolted through the door.

Sherry barely had time to identify who this person was when she felt a pair of arms thrown around her. If not for the wall behind her blanketing the impact, she would have been thrown to the floor.

“Oof...” She heard someone grunt.

It was neither her nor the person hugging her who made the sound. Instead, it was Caprice who was squeezed in between the two of them. She was about to turn into a pancake.

Queenie immediately let go of Sherry, her voice flaring with concern as she cried out, “Caprice, did | hurt you? I’m so sorry!” 2 Caprice caught her breath and assured her, “I'm okay.”

She only nearly had the air squeezed out of her.
