Chapter 1750
Chapter 1750
Outside the villa, Ron was just about to choke the life out of Anne when a crew of large bodyguards surrounded him. He was visibly jolted,
Before he could react to the situation, he heard someone speak in a low, commanding voice,” Take the girl.” The person speaking was referring to Willow, Ron’s ex-secretary mistress.
The bodyguards sprang to the task immediately and apprehended her.
Willow cried out, her voice filled with panic, “Ron, help!”
Carl commanded sharply, “Strangle her.”
The bodyguard complied.
Blood rushed to Willow's face as the bodyguard wrapped his arms around her neck. She began to whimper helplessly as she stared at Ron with her eyes widened.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Carl stepped forward, stopping between Willow and Ron. He glanced at Anne who was near passing out by this point. Then, he smiled tauntingly and asked, “Ron, why don’t we find out who can finish the job faster?”
Ron was horrified and furious. He roared, “Carl! Let Willow go!”
Carl tucked his hands in his pockets, completely unfazed. “You're going to have to let my aunt go first.”
Ron shot him a daggered look, then he promptly took his hands off Anne’s neck and shoved her away.
Anne staggered forward and nearly fell.
Thankfully, the bodyguards managed to hold her steady just in time. After making sure she was unhurt, they led her to Carl. Carl raised an eyebrow and ordered, “Let the girl go.”
Willow was released. She immediately ran to Ron.
Ron had Willow hide behind him as he assumed a defensive position. He shot a vicious glare at Carl. “Carl, this is none of your business. Take your men and get out of here!”
Carl smirked. “Ron, you've been hiding a mistress and children behind my aunt's back, and you even hit my aunt! Now, you're the one telling me it's none of my business? Do you take my family for a joke?”
Ron recoiled, and both he and Willow took a step back. He looked at Carl warily. “What do you want?” Carl smiled. “If you don’t want anything to happen to your beloved mistress, you'd tell her to leave now.” Immediately after that, he turned to the crew of bodyguards around him and gave the fatal order,”
Beat him up. Just make sure you don’t kill him.”
They charged Ron before he could even blink.
He turned around and tried to run but only managed a couple of steps before he was thrown to the ground, landing hard on his buttocks.
What followed after that was a vicious beating.
The bodyguards were well-trained and took special care to not hit any vital parts.
Ron groaned in pain.
Willow was frightened and could only back away while continuing to cry hysterically,
Carl looked on with amusement for a while before he turned to Anne.
Her men were surrounding her, keeping her safe. All the color had drained out of her face, and it seemed like her soul had left her body entirely. She stared blankly at Ron the entire time.
“Aunt Anne,” Carl called her name.
This pulled her out of her daze, and she turned to him and looked at him weakly. She did not know what to say. Her lips quivered several times but ultimately failed to produce any words.
Carl motioned at Ron. “Do you want to take him?”
Anne nodded weakly. “Um...okay. Take him and the kids for DNA identification.”
She already knew she was going to divorce him regardless of whether those kids were his or not. “Alright.”
Anne was helped into the car shortly after.
After Ron was beaten half to death, Carl called for a stop and had his men throw him into the car.
Willow cried harrowingly and got on her knees in front of Carl. “Please, please let Ron go! Leave my children out of this. They are innocent.”
Carl smiled sarcastically, “Shouldn't you be celebrating? You've achieved your goal!”
Willow flinched as she wiped tears away from her eyes. She asked in a puzzled tone, “Young Master Sager, | don’t get what you mean by that.”
