Fallon’s POV

I sat on the chair as Mia applied the last coat of lipstick, I looked into the mirror and smiled widely thinking the only thing that has been swirling in my head since I woke up.

“You’re done” Mia said smiling, “You look so beautiful, Fallon” she awed me. I grinned at her and pulled her into a warm hug. We reconciled our friendship months back and when I asked her to be my maid of honor 4 months ago she jumped right up. She did everything a best friend would do, she planned a mind blowing bachelorette party, took the testing for cakes and flowers.

I haven’t seen Caleb in a weeks, our family managed to keep both of us away from each other saying it’s the ‘tradition’ in air courts, insert eyeroll. But it’s kind of galvanizing.

I once told Caleb that I wanna get married on the edge of the world and that’s exactly where we are getting married, on a mountain top here in Vancouver. It’s a very small intimate wedding, just for close family and friends. I also asked Felicity to be my bridesmaid, she is a nice friend of mine even through we had lost touch. I also wanted to ask Diana to be my bridesmaid but she is Caleb’s best woman.

I stood up and turn around to see my mom, Mia, Felicity and Rose with the triplets sitting scattered in the room. Diana was with Caleb. Felicity got my dress, “Now get ready, Fallon!” She said and ushered me inside the walk-in closet. My legs were shaking in anticipation and excitement. I took off my robe standing in front of the mirror, I smiled. I used to hate my body, loath it to be honest. Those cellulites, stretch marks and flabs. It took me a while to realize that in reality none of them matter. People are attracted to people due to the confidence, power and authority they have, most importantly their personality.

“ARE YOU DONE?” Mia’s voice snapped me back to reality, “Uh.. give me a minute woman” I said and pulled up my lacy white sleeveless teddy. It accentuates my curves like a goddess, “Mia can you come in here?” I shouted, I don’t wanna ruin the most beautiful dress by trying to get it on alone.

Mia came in and helped me inside the dress and laced the back up. She tucked the silk ribbon inside the dress and stepped back and took a look at me.

“So? How do I look?” I asked meekly biting my lips, she looked at me starstruck, “Breathtaking” she whispered and looked me in the eye, “You’re breathtaking” she said tearing up and bit my lips to stop me from crying. She snorted a cry, “I don’t wanna ruin my make up. It bloody took hours to perfect it” she said fanning her hands to her eyes and went outside. I chuckled and looked in the mirror to admire the dress.

It’s a sweetheart neckline mermaid dress. White ivory in colour, the flare of the dress is made up of silk that pooled on the floor. This dress is the epitome of elegance, beauty and seductive. What makes this dress the most beautiful is it’s embroidery. There are hundred of diamond studded in an absolutely exquisite manner. Alexander called in the most famous designer in Paris and made me a wedding dress, it’s his gift for me. He had her make a closet full of dresses for me.

I walked outside the room and a gasp left everyone’s mouth. I smiled shyly, “My baby is all grown up” my mother cried and came in to hug me. She squeezed my arms, “You look so beautiful, it’s unreal” she said. I have her a kiss in the cheeks, my eyes filled with tears, “Oh my god! Stop making her cry!” Felicity screeched making everyone laugh. A tug on my dress made me look down to an blue green eyed Xyera, “You wook so pwetty” she said innocently. I smiled widely, “but not as beautiful as you sweetheart!” I said softly, she smiled shyly and ran behind her grandmother.

“There is still 20 mins left for the wedding to start, why don’t we all sit down” I said looking at the clock, I wanted to marry during the sunrise and usually it around 6. 15 at this time of the year. The sunrise shows new beginning of the day just like I am having a new beginning of my life.

We all talked randomly while fixing my veil when there was a knock on the door, a smug Alexander peeped inside, “Hello ladies” he said and came inside. “You look absolutely gorgeous Fallon” he commented with a smile, “Thank you Alex” I said.

“Caleb is very lucky to have you” he said and kissed his Xyera on her cheeks and the boys head who were asleep.

“Anyway… I actually needed a favor” he said skittishly, “yeah sure” I said agreeing to him. He smiled deviously, just like Caleb does. That got me a little anxious, “It’s just a harmless prank.. where is your phone?” He asked I motioned him to my phone that was kept on the vanity table. Everybody in the room was curious to what Alex had in mind.

He took the phone and and started to type something as the phone was not privacy protected he did whatever he wanted to.

“By the way what’s the name of the guy that makes Caleb angry?” He asked without taking his eyes off the screen, “Alex? What are you doing?” I asked sternly yet a little afraid, “Don’t worry just tell me!” He assured me, “Liam..” I answered hesitantly. After typing some more with a deviously smile on his face he set the phone down and pulled up his sleeve to see his watch, “I’ll give it 30 seconds” he said to himself and leaned back with a sly smile on his face.

Not seconds later there was a loud thumping noise as if someone is running from death. The door of the room banged open, “WHERE IS THAT MOTHERFUCKER???!!!” Caleb shouted on top of his voice, Mia and Felicity came in front of me to shield me.

“What’s wrong Caleb?” I asked

“Oh come on, 23 seconds! That’s really good” Alex said at the same time impressed.

Everyone’s attention snapped to him but he nonchalantly went out if the room whistling, “That’s for the prank you pulled on my wedding day” Alexander shouted when he was in the hallway.

“Okay. What the fuck is going on?” I shouted not getting up, from the crack between Felicity and Mia, I saw Caleb look disheveled, “I GOT A TEXT FROM FALLON SAYING THAT SHE DOESN’T WANNA MARRY ME BECAUSE SHE LOVES LIAM AND IS ELOPING WITH HIM” Caleb said angrily showing his phone.

“That was Alex, baby. Alex texted you from my phone” I said soothingly.

“You’re not leaving me?” He asked like a broken puppy.

“No baby, not even in my dreams. I am here” I said.

After a minute of silence, “I’ll see you at the alter” he said and walked out of the room.

“ALEXANDER! YOU BASTARD” Caleb’s voice rang in the house.

Rose chuckled at her boys childishness, “well that was interesting…” Mia commented.

The back door of the house opened as the ‘here comes the bride’ song played, my mother walked me down the aisle. I looked up at Caleb who wiped a tear from his cheeks, I grinned widely. The bridesmaids and the groomsmen were already standing in their places, wearing a beautiful muted purple gown. Caleb looked heart stoppingly handsome.

He wore jet black tuxedo with a white shirt underneath, his gold locks gelled back and his beard trimmed making him look like a god. The orange and red hues of the sun made him look more like Zeus. His eyes were shining with warmth and love when I came close to him.

Mom gave me away to Caleb who was grinning like a fool, “you look so beautiful baby” he said and kissed me through the veil. A throat cleared and we looked at the stern priest, “The wedding hasn’t even started” he said making everyone laugh and me blush in embarrassment.

But that doofus had to say something to embarrass me more, “So hurry up!” He said sarcastically and the crowd roared in laughter.

The priest gave him a stingy eye but continued the ceremony anyway.

“We are gathered here today on an auspicious day to witness the holy matrimony of two loving soul..” he said and looked between us, “Do you have your vows?” Asked the priest both of us nodded.

“All my life I spend thinking I wasn’t good enough, that I was worth no good… It pained when I would be the laughing stock when I would cling to smallest display of affection. All I ever wanted was to be loved, truely loved by someone. Then you came, I was just a normal girl, a good girl who was always stay miles away from danger. But you pushed me to the edge, leaving me dangling to danger. You made me realize that I have to love myself first before anyone falls in love with me. I fell in love with you in the most unexpected situation. I love everything about you you perfection, imperfections, your possessiveness, your jealously, your ability to get annoyed by everything but most importantly, your pure heart and well intentions for others. You’re my everything Caleb, I’ll spend the rest of my life showing my love to you, each and every day. We both will love you” I said crying.

“Both?” Caleb asked confused but tears filled his eyes, I nodded, “I am pregnant” I said in a cracking voice. He wrapped his arms around my waist and picked me up kissing me, “I love you Fallon… I love you so much” he said as he put me down.

“I didn’t tell you to kiss the bride just yet” the priest snapped annoyed but Caleb didn’t pay any heeds to him, the ear splitting grin didn’t flatter from his face even for a second.

“Fallon, my dandelion. I have made a lot of mistakes and the pain I have caused is is incomparable to anything. I don’t know how but you gave me a second chance. My life was over the moment I pushed you away, I died every second of the day without you for four years in my life. You became a necessity to me unknowingly, seeing you became obligatory, touching you became obligatory, feeling you became obligatory… Everything about you became obligatory. I wasn’t able to function without you. You made me feel things I never wanted to feel.. things that I never knew I was capable of. You made me feel helpless and dependent, you wounded the big bad alpha, you brought a sadist on his knees begging for you love. We exchanged rings, I had a custom made rose gold ring with real blue diamond studded while my wedding ring was simply beautiful with small white and blue diamond studded all over.

“By the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride now” the priest said with a smile. Caleb wasted no time and pulled me in his arms and feverishly kissed me. The crowd cheered up in loud claps and hoots.

The reception was held 15 minutes after the wedding. Caleb made me change into a more comfortable dress and Nike slide-in’s. Through I didn’t go down without a fight but he used his puppy face on me and I had no say in the matter anymore.

So I wore a halter neck white gown that thankfully went down to the floor, covering the slide in’s.

The reception was held in the front side of the house. The crowd cheered when Caleb and I stepped out of the house. We played games and Caleb’s friends and siblings performed a dance event. Soon we both cut our wedding cake, much to my liking, the chocolate cake was more on the bitter side than on the sweeter side but it still was exquisite.

It was time for our first dance as married couple. Caleb wrapped his arms on my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I laughed when a very intriguing song played, love story by Taylor Swift.

“I remember” I said caressing his face.

“I know you do, that why I played” he whispered and touched our nose. I closed my eyes in contentment.

Soon the song came to an end, “Wait, just one more song” I said knowing fully well what I did.

Caleb left out a hearty laugh and pulled me closer to him as I sang,

“But mama I’m in love with a criminal

And this type of love isn’t rational, it’s physical

All reason aside I just can’t deny, I love the guy” I sang teasing him, he just shook his head and kissed me deeply.

I felt at peace, like a weight has been lifted off my chest. It felt good to be completed, I finally got what I have always needed.
