Scared
Scared
Quinn was really scared, and she started wondering why he passed out. Was there something on her face? She didn't know. She just kept on trying to wake him up. When she saw that her method wasn't working, she opened the door of the private lounge, and she ran outside to call people to help. She felt a little bit relieved to see his bodyguard outside the lounge, inspecting everywhere. She told him everything that happened, and the both of them ran inside the private lounge. Immediately they got there, the bodyguard carried him up, and Quinn told the bodyguard that she was going to call an ambulance, so he would be taken to the hospital instantly. She was about to do that, when the bodyguard told her that she couldn't do that, because Henry hated hospitals with his life. Quinn couldn't remember him saying that he actually hated hospitals, but she nodded her head in response, and together, they went outside the bar through the back door, because they didn't want to scare the people that were there. When they got outside, Quinn was surprised to see a limousine already parked outside the bar. The both of them ran to it, and they entered immediately. Quinn sat down, and Henry's head was placed on her laps, while the bodyguard sat opposite the both of them. While Henry's head was on her lap, she kept on looking at his face, and his features. He still hadn't changed since she saw him. His jawline was still as shape as ever, and his eyes? His eyes still had that brilliant spark in them. Even though his eyes were closed, she could still see the spark in them. His lips were still small and cute, just the way she used to like them. She tried resisting the urge to touch his face, but she couldn't just take it any longer. She touched his face, and the warmth that welcomed her palm was so satisfying, and she just wanted to continue doing that for a long while. Quinn was having the urge to kiss his lips, and she really wanted to, but she looked at the bodyguard to see if he was watching her. He wasn't.
She looked at him again, and she started bending her head to touch his lips with hers. Her lips were about to touch Henry's, when she remembered the way the brunette clinged onto him a week ago, and she instantly withdrew from doing that. That meant that he definitely had a girlfriend, then if he did, why was he touching her that way, in a seductive manner? She asked herself, and a sigh escaped from her mouth. The bodyguard looked at her, then his eyes lived on Henry almost immediately. He had questions in his eyes, and Quinn knew what he wanted to ask, but she was waiting for him to voice it out first. He scanned her face for a while, before he averted his gaze from her face, and faced forward. She knew that he wanted to ask what the relationship between them was, and if he actually did, she wouldn't have known the answer to give him, because she didn't even know what the relationship between them was. Quinn rested her head on the back of the chair, and she closed her eyes tightly. She didn't want to overthink everything, because she knew that if she did, she would definitely go crazy. She moved her hand to Henry's chest, and she felt relieved when she felt his heart beating really fast. She moved her other hand to her own chest, and she saw that their hearts were beating together, the same way. That made her smile, because it meant that no matter what, their hearts will always be connected one way or the other. While smiling, she slept off, thinking about Henry and...her. A few minutes later, Quinn felt taps on her skin, and she opened her eyes to see the bodyguard frowning at her. "We've arrived." He said, and he looked away. Quinn didn't know where they headed, so she decided to ask him. "Where are we?" She asked, and for a second, the bodyguard stared at her like she was a crazy person. "Master Henry's house." He said, and he helped her with lifting Henry out of the car. Without saying any other word to her, he carried Henry to the house, while Quinn just silently trailed behind him.
When they got to the door, the bodyguard brought out a card from Henry's pocket, and he used it to open the door. The door opened, and the bodyguard went inside, he waited for Quinn to enter inside before he locked the door. She was about to ask about the driver, but she knew that that would be another foolish question to the bodyguard , so she just kept her mouth shut instead. The bodyguard went straight upstairs, and Quinn. Couldn't do anything, but to stare at the whole mansion in awe. The whole house was so clean, and neat. Quinn felt really proud that even after a long time, he was still as neat as he used to be. She was really impressed with the whole house setting, and everything. It didn't even look as if a woman stayed with him at all, and as she climbed the staircase, she could only think about that - if Henry truly didn't bring any woman to the house. After walking for a minute and passing by so many rooms, the bodyguard finally stopped in front of a door. It looked bigger than the other doors, and Quinn just guessed that it was Henry's room. She wasn't surprised, when the man had to use a card to open the door again. When they got inside, it took Quinn everything in her to not gasp at the whole room designs, arrangement, and everything about it. It was so beautiful, neat and it smelled nice too. Only Henry could keep a room that way. She thought and smiled to herself. She hoped she was there to stay in the house, and to stay forever…This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
