Love Has Its Will

Chapter 432

Chapter 432

Savanna spent the entire afternoon choosing suitable schools.

When Brandon came back from work, they carefully discussed and decided on a ridiculously expensive private aristocratic school.

It was New York Royal Academy.

The school had advanced facilities and the best teachers in New York, and it was close to home, only 1 mile away.

If Tye was uncomfortable at school, Savanna could get there as soon as possible to solve the problem in time.

“Tye, would you like to go to this school?”

Savanna held the school brochure and pointed at the castle-like grand photo on the cover when she

asked for her son’s opinion.

Tye stared at the photo for a long time with his timid eyes. Perhaps he was scared because he was

unfamiliar with this school.

“There are many children at your age so you can play together,” Savanna coaxed.

Unsurprisingly, when it came to friends, Tye nodded in agreement.

Savanna rubbed his tiny face. “Then go to sleep quickly. We will report to school tomorrow.”

The next day.

Before going to school, Savanna took a detour to the mall, bought a lot of beautiful notebooks and colorful pens for Tye, and stuffed them into the new Ultraman schoolbag.

With the new schoolbag, Tye was so happy that he bounced all the way to school.

Savanna held his hand and walked into the new school.

They went to the office to talk face-to-face with Tye’s teacher, Jennie Austin. There, Savanna sat with a cup of hot tea in her hands.

Tye sat next to Savanna, opened a new notebook, and drew with watercolor pens.

“Tye is quiet. He doesn’t talk much. I have to trouble you to take care of him.”

Savanna had asked Jim, her assistant, to carry two large bags of greeting gifts for the teacher. Jennie smiled, “Of course. It is our duty to care for every student.”

“Thank you so much,” Savanna replied with a smile.

Jim knocked on the door and came in, holding a stack of documents.

“Mrs. Cassel, the admission procedures are done.”

Jennie took the documents. “I will take him to class now.”

Savanna helped Tye put away the pens and the notebook, and helped him carry his bag. “Tye, obey Ms. Austin at school. I will pick you up when classes are over

Jennie reached out and gently pulled Tye to her side.

“Tye, say goodbye to mother

Tye quietly stared at Savanna, his small hands holding the bag straps and his eyes filled with timidity.

Savanna was not at ease with the idea that he had to face everything alone in the new school, but it

had to be this way. The child had grown big enough toge to school, and she could not keep him

around all the time.

“Jim, let’s go.”

After leaving the school, Savanna’s heart was suddenly filled with emptiness.

“Mrs. Cassel, where are we going? Shall I take you home?” Jim asked

Savanna sat in the back of the car and thought about where to go when the child in her belly kicked her.

“Dear, do you miss your father?” She asked as she stroked her belly with her slender fingers. “Let’s go to the company.”

The black Cayenne turned around at the intersection ahead and headed toward the company.

After arriving at the company, Savanna took the elevator to the top floor and went straight to the president’s office.

Sadly, she missed him. It was empty in the huge wood-style office.

Brandon wasn’t there.

“Mr. Cassel could be in a meeting. Shall I make a call and find out?” Jim suggested.

“No need. I’ll wait for him here.” Savanna sat on the office chair.

The chair was so big that it made her look small on it. She had porcelain-white skin like a newborn baby, tender and glowing.

No wonder he started reading fashion magazines. It turned out that he wanted to buy a dress to please other women.

Thinking of his behavior right after recovering from a serious disease, Savanna was overwhelmed by the pain in her heart.

Savanna stiffly stuffed the dress back into the bag, and slowly closed the drawer.

At that time, the door handle turned. The next second, Brandon appeared at the door of the office with a folder in his hand.

“Honey, why are you here?” Brandon strode over quickly with his long legs and tugged her into his embrace. “Have you finished with Tye’s arrangement in the new school?”

His body temperature was higher than hers. The warmth sent out a faint fragrance of cold pine.

It was his exclusive smell.

Savanna wanted to push him away, but somewhat she coveted his smell and nodded, “It’s done.”

“Why didn’t you go home to rest? Why did you come here?” Brandon lowered his head and kissed her hair. “Let me guess, did you miss me?”

Savanna hugged him, feeling the warmth of his body, but when she thought of the dress, sadness came over her.

She felt as if she were the most pathetic woman in the world.
