Upon hearing Jaxton call Emmanuel by his name, the crowd erupted in gasps
of surprise.

Though it might go unnoticed by others, the killing intent caused Jaxton to shiver involuntarily, as if he had plunged into an ice cellar.
The next moment, a streak of white light shot through the room like lightning.
Before anyone could see clearly, they heard a blood–curdling scream from
