“She is a pretty good cook,” Frank thought. He could see from Judith’s skillful manners that she often cooked. “What did Judy go through over these years?” It was painful for Frank to think about this. He did not look at Judith. Instead, he lowered his head and said with a smile, “Judy, it’s very delicious. This is the first time I’ve had such delicious ravioli. It reminded me of my childhood. For the first time, a very considerate little girl gave me a strawberry lollipop. It was so sweet.” i His clear voice was full of nostalgia. Judith felt that there was an unknown pain in his heart Judith looked up and saw the wistful look on his face. “Is he missing someone she wondered. Judith suddenly remembered Marilyn’s words. “Is he missing the woman he liked?”

Just then, the doorbell rang. Judith looked at the door and thought, “It should be Adam. Only Adam knows that I live here.” Then she glanced at Frank and didn’t say anything, but got up and opened the door. She was right. It was Adam. “Judy, I’ve brought supper for you.” Adam smiled happily and showed her the shrimp and hot wings in his hand. He had a big bright smile. Frank’s face darkened as he heard that it was Adam. “What is Adam doing here so late at night?” Frank forgot he was also an unexpected visitor. Judith smiled, “Adam, it’s so late. Why did you especially bring me supper? I can take care of myself. Don’t worry about me.” Judith got out of the way and let Adam in. “You always settle for some cold, simple snacks. If I don’t take good care of you, the kids will be angry at me.” Adam gave a serious look. He was afraid that she hadn’t eaten anything at the banquet and went to bed hungry. However, when he saw Frank sitting in the living room, the smile on his face froze. Adam’s jaw clenched when he saw the handsome man in Judith’s place. Frank gave Adam a haughty look. The aristocratic man didn’t hide his innate arrogance when he faced a man who wanted to steal his woman. Judith felt the tense atmosphere between the two men. She looked at Adam and explained, “Adam, Mr. Taylor dropped me home. We barely ate anything at the banquet. So I made ravioli. Would you like to have some? I’ll make more.” Adam was her friend, her big brother. All she wanted now was to take revenge and find her biological parents. She had never thought about falling in love with anybody. She didn’t think that Adam

saw Frank being here at midnight was a big deal. Adam raised his eyebrows as he stared at her calm and innocent smiling face. A thoughtful expression appeared on his handsome face. “Judy, you silly girl, can’t you see that Frank has some feelings for you?” Adam pulled Judith’s hand and walked to Frank. With a fake smile, he said politely, “Mr. Taylor, thank you for taking care of my Judy.” Adam thought he should not have listened to Judy tonight and should have gone to pick her up directly. “Frank is dangerous. A man who does not even have any scandals, suddenly gets close to Judy? He must have an ulterior motive.”
