Chapter 206 Falling More and More in Love
Maggie didn’t expect such a positive result! While she knew the video’s quality was solid, she never expected it to become a trending topic and gamer such high engagement across different platforms.
But then again, with Nathael involved, it’s hardly surprising that it turned out so well.
She wouldn’t even be shocked if it stayed at the top of trending topics for a month.
Maggie opened the video and watched it attentively. She had to admit that she enjoyed the aesthetic. It was both dreamy and youthful, with the lighting perfectly balanced.
No wonder they say love is the best photographer. Nathael captured the exact emotions he wanted.
Maggie clicked into the comments section to take a look.
Whether they were filtering out negative comments or not, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with hardly any bad reviews to be found.
Even if there were a few, they weren’t too harsh. Maggie thought it was all fine.
Aw! That’s nice. Reminds me of my first crush! Shame it didn’t go anywhere!”
The piano skills are legit, not staged for attention. And seeing those hand details is cool. But why are you hiding your face?’
Am I the only one here, crying my eyes out? Loved deeply, but ended up going separate ways.
You look so stunning and fresh, like the goddess I dream about!!!‘
Goddess? Maybe she’s not showing her face because she’s not confident in her looks?”
Geez, you’re jealous. Do women have to look all tech–savvy like you to be considered pretty?”
Wondering who this pianist is. This tune seems pretty simple, but she’s rocking it like a pro!!
Probably just another internet celeb hype. Bet she’ll reveal herself soon, though who knows if it’s her playing
Loving it! But who’s the gorgeous girl? I want to follow her account, but I can’t find her anywhere!‘
After browsing for a bit, Maggie couldn’t help but give props to Nathael’s skills.
The video wasn’t just racking up views and comments, but also getting shared by a bunch of big shots and influencers in the entertainment world.
It made Maggie feel a bit guilty, like maybe she’d hitched her waggon to someone too powerful.
But she also knew that the more the video blew up, the harder it would hit the Camerons in the end.
As even her idols retweeted the video on Twitter, fans flocked to join the discussion, speculating about the woman’s identity and fueling the buzz even further.

With the goal already achieved, Maggie stopped paying much attention to it and casually scrolled through other updates.
Then, she spotted a headline about a University’s Piano Competition, marked as “trending, and the post just before it happened to be from Sierra.
Maggie clicked to take a look and sure enough, it seemed like the Camerons were pulling strings to boost Sierra’s image.
However, their tactics fell a bit short
They had two tags to hype up Sierra: piano prodigy girl and rich second–gen.
These were carefully crafted by someone they hired.
However, since Sierra didn’t have much material to work with and Ronald’s decision was spontaneous, many of the videos and behind–the–scenes clips were put together hastily, lacking real highlights.
The combo of “piano prodigy girl” and “rich second–gen” didn’t draw as much attention as they hoped. Instead, it led to some people digging into her as a daughter of the Cameron family, stirring up some negative feedback.
But Maggie also figured Ronald was probably just testing the waters.
They probably didn’t want to make a big splash right away, fearing it might overwhelm Sierra. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
Maggie suspected there was more to it. She kept scrolling and found her name at the bottom of the trending topics.
The Cameron sisters face off on stage!”
Clicking into it, she spotted some photos of herself from past events, mostly screenshots of activities involving the Luster Corporation and Cameron Group Construction.
Their malicious intent was crystal clear–they were trying to stir up trouble for her.
There weren’t tons of comments, but enough to make a stir, mostly hurling insults due to the Luster Corporation’s controversies. Maggie scrolled through and sure enough, she found an article.
It straight–up labelled Sierra as an oblivious rich kid from the Camerons, innocent and naive. Meanwhile, it portrayed Maggie, the Camerons’s adopted daughter, as someone keen on contributing to the family’s success. The article hinted that many of the Luster Corporation’s actions might have been influenced by her.
Maggie Adam chuckled coldly, finding it almost expected.
My role is just to be the scapegoat, huh?
Just as Maggie was about to scroll down to see what else they could come up with, a long, clean hand reached over and took the phone, accompanied by a deep voice saying, “No need to look at these. It’ll just ruin your mood.”
Nathael glanced at it briefly and felt annoyed.
Without dwelling on it, he could see the Camerons’s schemes and dirty tricks. He didn’t want to imagine

how much longer Maggie would have been caught up in their mess if he hadn’t intervened.
If he could, he’d make those articles vanish in a heartbeat.
But he knew it wasn’t the right time yet.
Right now, the worse the public opinion got for Maggie, the more she’d benefit when the truth finally
came out.
Maggie brushed off all those things about the Camerons. After all the shady stuff they’ve done over the years, this seemed minor in comparison.
She looked up at Nathael and smiled. “When did you wake up?”
“When you were watching the video,” he said, his voice still a bit hoarse but filled with warmth.
Maggie chuckled lightly. “You edited the video? When did you even do that?”
“After you fell asleep, Nathael Harris answered straightforwardly.
Maggie was taken aback for a moment, observing the slight redness in his eyes, and couldn’t help but say, “You could’ve had someone else do it next time. It’s not a big deal, no need for you to handle it personally.”
Nathael reached out, gently holding the back of her head, and planted a tender kiss on her lips. “Anything concerning you is significant to me.”
Maggie gazed at him, momentarily at a loss for words, her stunning eyes reflecting his figure.
After a few seconds, she hugged his neck and gave his lips a gentle peck, her voice soft and affectionate. “Nathael, I can’t help but find myself adoring you more and more. What should I do?”
At 2:00 p.m., the news online was buzzing as the University’s Piano Competition officially kicked off.
Maggie had already met up with the representative from the First Institute. This time, the First Institute had a total of six spots, with three taken by the School of Arts, one by her School of Design, and the remaining two split between the School of Foreign Languages and the School of Business and Trade.
Taking up the spot from the School of Business and Trade was none other than Sierra.
Technically, the School of Business and Trade was more about buying admission, often seen as a diploma mill used for show. But since it was affiliated with the First Institute, it was sure to come with some perks.
And, this time, the perks fell into the lap of Sierra.
