Chapter 3272  The Crucible of the Beyonder! II

This was because an Outerversal Morphon who was just born, or even a Great One could all challenge the Crucible.

Its challenge…was tailored to the challenger as the level of difficulty would change drastically depending on who was challenging it.

As for the rewards…they were the unfathomable Transcendent Megalos Abilities that made the Great Beyonder so powerful.

Those who managed to clear even a portion of the Crucibles would gain small sections of these Transcendent Megalos Abilities as even these alone were enough to make them renowned Morphons.

|The Crucible of the Beyonder in our Pantheon of Umbra is also known as the Crucible of the Amarantos Dream of the Megalos- aptly named for the Transcendent Megalos Ability one can gain if they successfully clear the Crucible.|

This was the Transcendent Megalos Ability one could inherit from clearing the same named crucible.

Led by a procession of terrifying Outerversal Morphons, Ozymandias and Aspasia followed behind the devout followers of the Great Mother and arrived in front of a massive crimson rift at the center of the Pantheon.

The Great Wheel's tendrils vibrated with power as his deep voice echoed out.

|The Crucibles of the Beyonder are a work of art none of us can replicate, with each one leading you into an Isolated Megalos Domain intricately designed by the Great Beyonder. Passing the challenges of the Crucible fully grants one the Full Transcendent Megalos Ability, and passing it a third or halfway will grant a partial Transcendent Megalos Ability. For some, they do not get far as they gain nothing, and one can even have their existence extinguished within the Crucible if they are too weak! O Instrument…do you wish to proceed in at this moment, or shall you wait for the passage of time as you acclimate to who you are? I know you were just born.|

Even those who had lived for many cycles didn't manage to clear the Crucible depending on their power.

Someone that was just born…how exactly would their challenge go? How low were their chances?!

And yet…as all eldritch eyes came to land on Ozymandias, he voiced out with immense calmness and confidence.

Around the massive crimson rift, twisting Pillars rose up and twisted back into the red earth, with massive obsidian obelisks and structures circling around it as if felt like an eldritch city was enacted around the crimson rift.

A city for Morphons to make merry and observe any attempts at the Crucible of the Beyonder, with endless stretches of structures continuing on from here and across the rest of the Megalos Pantheon of Umbra.

At this moment, millions of Morphons had turned their eyes to this place, and many more would undoubtedly make their way over.

Little Aspasia clasped her hands as Ozymandias moved forward.

|We wish you glory and a swift return, O Dream of the Beyonder.|

The distinction of the Dream of the Beyonder that Ozymandias gained after meeting the Great Mother.

Aspasia uttered it at this moment, and it rang out in this space of the Pantheon of Umbra, whispers of it beginning to spread!

And valiantly.

Without an ounce of a doubt!

Ozymandias, the Dream of the Beyonder, went towards the massive Rift of the Crucible as he disappeared!

Existence in the surroundings buzzed.

Above the massive rift, a light shot out to form a massive illusory screen that showed the outline of the Dream of the Beyonder.

On the sides of the rift, more lights shot out as other illusory screens showing different perspectives also appeared- it was a show more expressive than any other challenges of this Crucible.

|Let us observe and revel in the possibilities of what may be!|

The intent of a Great One reverberated out.

OOOOH! Outerversal Morphons cheered as in the eldritch city filled with obsidian structures down below, festivities began to pick up.

Drinks began to be prepared.

Foods prepared from the supple meat of Outerversal Eldritch Beasts began to be prepared!

And all eyes within Umbra began to focus on one place.

A flash of obsidian radiance.

By the time Ozymandias could see again, he found himself standing on a crimson crystalline earth.

All around him, dense clouds of black mist covered everything, only lighting up a cylindrical path ahead of him.

At the end of this path, there was a humanoid eldritch horror whose skin glistened with a mixture of gold and obsidian light.

He only had eyes on his humanoid head that flashed with golden brilliance, and a stellar golden horn rising from his head that was actually the same size as him!

A terrifying intent emanated from this being- and the surroundings masked with clouds of black mist that bloomed before Ozymandias.

|You have entered the Amarantos Dream of the Megalos.|

|If successful in getting past all Markers of the Amarantos Dream of the Megalos, the full Transcendent Megalos Ability- the Amarantos Dream of the Megalos will be granted.|

|With it, one can Dream of the Megalos Beyond.|

|A single Dream can last an instant, but span a whole cycle. The gains and power obtained in any Amarantos Dream of the Megalos are retrieved and assimilated in your existence.|

|While others strive for power and connections, all one has to do is Dream and it can all be attained. At the highest level of proficiency of the Amarantos Dream of the Megalos, even the Transcendence of Existence is feasible with but a dream.|

Terrifying weavings of intent came down.

The possible gains to be made here were astonishing as it was a technique left behind by the Great Beyonder!

Something that very few Outerversal Morphons even held the full ability of- with the number of Entities holding it fully being countable in one hand.

All were Great Ones.

Within a mere Dream, even Transcendence was possible!

But to get this Ability…one had to pass through the entire Crucible.

And just the first test alone gave Ozymandias a tremendous sense of pressure as in the distance, the entity with a curved golden horn the same size as his body rose.

It was obviously a fight.

But out of all three weavings of power, Ozymandias could only use Outerversal Authority as the Existential Extremity Authority of Noah Osmont nor His Authority of Ingeniare could be utilized.

The Authority of the Administrator of the Atlas of Existence could be pulled out and used to reinforce Outerversal Authority, but at this moment, Ozymandias had to fight like an Outerversal Morphon.

And since he was just born, he had no skills or abilities to speak of as he had to bring his own based on his previous weavings of existence, and the fact that his current body was that of an entity that had Transcended Existence to reach the Expanse!

With all of these factors put together…could he not clear the immeasurably hard Crucible that less than 10 Morphons cleared- a Crucible based on one's own strength?

In the distance, the titanic figure of the humanoid morphon whose body shone with crystalline black and gold luster released his intent.
