I Want You Back

Chapter 67

Sofia Andrew

I've had a bad day; my head hurts, and it's all Angel's fault. He made me prepare dinner and then put me in the cold shower. We stayed out of the house until late, and to top it all off, he just had to mention Elisa. "Elisa, Elisa, Elisa! Until when will I hear your name, Elisa?!" I thought out loud in frustration.

"Who are you fighting this early?" Amelia asks as she enters my office.

"Who else, Amelia?"

"What did he do this time? I thought he'd been behaving well lately." I gave her a sharp gaze, and she raised her hands in defense.

"Apart from behaving like an alpha male in front of Dominik? He says that my food was horrible, he put me in the cold shower, he tempted me, and then left me wanting more by taking me to my apartment. You know what's worse? He said that he was thinking about Elisa! That jerk!" "Okay, but the poor computer is not to blame," she chuckled and took away the keyboard that I was taking my anger on. "Sofia, no man likes another handsome man being around his wife. And about the food, hmm, that's absurd because you cook well. I'm not going to even comment on the shower thingy when you could have just jumped on him." She gave me a mischievous smile, and I glared at her. "Lastly, about Elisa, what explanation did he give you?"

"I don't know why I bother telling you when you're a fan of Angel." I sighed in exasperation.

"Sofia, seeing you two together is one thing, supporting him is another thing, but I am your friend and I have to tell you things. Just as I told you to leave Angel at some point, that you should not cry for him, that he did not deserve you. I am also telling you that the man is doing his part; what he did in France was commendable. He took you to a romantic dinner on a boat across the country, he made you lose your virginity like a dream, and he didn't act like a jerk until yesterday at dinner. I think he has his reasons. Was the dinner that bad?"

I didn't answer right away because I was trying to understand her point. After a while, I sighed and finally responded.

"No. It was uncomfortable; it was like a fight to see who was better than the other. Dominik did not restrict himself in complimenting me, and Angel obviously did not back down. Although now that I think about it, there was a moment when Dominik taunted him with words and said that he was going to conquer me, so of course, Angel didn't like it very much."

"Duh, so is it Angel's fault? How should a man behave when he has another man in his house saying that he likes her wife, who just made him dinner and even responds to his flirtatious behavior?"

"I did it to bother Angel," I admitted while rolling my eyes.

"And I congratulate you because it seems that you succeeded, so I don't understand why you're acting that way."

"I'm annoyed that he said that my food was horrible, that I wanted to poison him, that he led me on but left me hanging, and that he's thinking about Elisa. Tell me, why should I not kill him?" Amelia laughed while shaking her head. "Sofia, I think you're more upset because Angel left you hanging instead of the dinner and Elisa."

I scoffed and crossed my arms. "How dare he seduce me like that and then leave me hanging? What kind of man gets into the shower and looks at his wife like he wants to eat her, say things to her, and give me breathtaking kisses, then takes you home?! He is an idiot!" I ranted in frustration, and Amelia laughed out loud, clearly entertained.

"When did you become so fiery? I imagine that Angel must be good for you to be like this."

"Stop making fun of me, Amelia. It's been almost a month, if not more since that man touched me, and it seems like he doesn't feel like doing it. Then he told me he was thinking about Elisa. I would hang him and drown him in a river so that the piranhas would eat him."All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

"Oh, but what have the poor piranhas done to you? If Angel hasn't touched you, it wasn't because of them. You got upset with him, you went on a trip, and you haven't forgiven him for making him suffer, which seems excellent to me, but I think he has done his part, Sofia. He has been a romantic man, a husband who supports his wife in everything, but knowing you, I bet you have not given him signs to be with you."

"What am I supposed to do? Beg him to take me and say that I'm all his? As if! He should know that I won't give in every time."

"I think he wants to be a gentleman, and he is getting closer to you little by little."

"And did he have to be a gentleman last night? Even when another man at home is saying that he wants me and wants to take me away from him? No, the jerk had to take me home. Who told him that I wanted to leave?" I continued complaining, and Amelia couldn't stop laughing. Amelia tried to catch her breath from laughing too much. "Oh, Sofia, if you wanted to be with Angel, there are certain ways woman can make that happen and not seem like that was what we wanted."

"How am I supposed to know that? I mean, I do, but we're talking about Angel here, and the last time I tried to seduce him, I ended up being rejected and crying in my bed like an idiot."

"Sofia, that was four years ago, and it's different now. He has told you that he loves you, that he wants to be with you, that he wants to start all over again. Believe me, you give that man the slightest sign and you will have him here, eating you whole." "And what about Elisa? Why was he thinking about her?"

"Mm, yes, that was not pleasant, but you have to think about the context. Did you give him a chance to explain?"

"I didn't because I didn't want to listen to it. He upset me when I was already upset. That man makes me angry just by seeing him lately."

"Just him? I think everyone seems to irritate you lately. Even Isaac has said that you are often in a bad mood. One moment, you are fine, and then you turn into a witch."

I cannot argue because it's true.

I massaged my temple with a groan. "I think it's stress. Between the problems on the platform in Canada, Algeria, the next presentation, Angel, and to top it off, Dominik appeared."

"Then you need to calm down and rest because you're going to drive everyone crazy."

"I think all of this is beyond me; that's why I'm often hungry, sleepy, lethargic, and then energized. I feel excited when I see Angel, and I want to eat him whole, but he wants to be a gentleman, so it irritates me."

"Honey, what I think you have is withdrawal syndrome, which happens to us especially when you just experienced it. Apparently, you are not calm in that aspect because the moment you tried it, you became a nymphomaniac in one day, that's it. Not to mention that you have such a delicacy of a husband, so I understand you." "So how do we solve this problem? How do I take away this stress that I have on me so I can feel at ease and I don't want to kill Angel every second?"

"That is easy, my friend; you just have to take the first step. You are suffering from withdrawal; give your body what it wants." She suggested it like it was the most normal thing to do, and I gave her a blank look.

"Is that your plan? I want him to conquer me, and you want me to seduce him?"

"No, Sofia, but tell me, how is he going to win you over when he invites you out and you say no? You evade him like the plague, and you come up with the brilliant idea of flirting with someone else right under his nose."

"What part of me easily gets irritated when I see Angel, can't you understand? It frustrates me that I want to choke him and cut him into little pieces, but at the same time, I want to eat those sexy lips, that body of a Greek God, from his firm chest, his abdomen with those little squares in his holy place, those strong and muscular arms, and that delicious tongue." I stopped, and now I'm hotter than freshly brewed coffee! "Ugh! I hate Angel!"

"That is serious, my friend. I'm afraid that your employees are the ones who are paying the price for that frustration and even Ángel himself. I have an idea. While you two are talking, you can use Dominik by making him jealous, make some small insinuations that make Angel demonstrate his m*****d, and things will get a little out of control and what you want to happen will happen. Then the next morning, you will pretend as if nothing happened and he will continue working on conquering you. What do you think?"

"Amelia, I'm too tired to do that, and I'm hungry. I feel like if I grab Angel now, I won't let him leave the room for weeks. Just thinking about it exhausts me, makes me angry, and now I'm crying." As if proving my point, tears began to fall from my eyes. Amelia looked stunned, and she handed me the tissue. "I can see that."

I took a few, wiped my tears, and blew my nose. "What is happening to me? I get stressed from having s*x like crazy with Angel. I get angry because I can't have s*x with Angel, and now I'm crying like an idiot. I'm not like this!"

"I know, I know, calm down, and don't cry anymore. You're in a nervous breakdown." She caresses my back, and that's when Isaac comes in and sees the scene.

"Is everything okay? Is something wrong?" He immediately asked.

"Yes, everything is fine; have you never seen a woman cry?!" I snapped at him while sniffing, and he raised his hands.

"Love, leave us alone for now, please. I'll talk to you later," Amelia told her boyfriend, and he nodded and left my office.

"Now I just yelled at Isaac without any reason. I feel horrible!"

"Don't worry, Isaac will understand. Why don't we go out for a walk and have breakfast in a restaurant so you can clear your mind a little? What do you think?"

"Can we order a double cup of coffee, two omelets with ham and cheese and bacon, and have honey poured on top? Oh, I also want a plate of all the citrus fruits they have."

"Of course, beautiful, you can have them all."

Hearing the word beautiful made me want to cry more. "Angel used to call me beautiful, and he no longer does." God, why can't I stop crying?!

"Oh, good God, let's go to the doctor so they can give you something for the nervous breakdown you're having."

"Which doctor are we going to go to? I can't go to a hospital and say I have a nervous breakdown or something. I know, why don't we visit the gynecology center? They thought I was pregnant, so we can call the doctor; what's her name? And we can say that I have a crisis and she'll give me something."

"At least you haven't lost your intelligence," Amelia said while chuckling.

While on our way to the gynecology center, I thought it was stupid to go there.

"Amelia, I think we should just go back to the first plan, which is to go to a restaurant and eat as I'm hungry. I already feel better and I think my nervous breakdown is over. Plus, they might ask for some tests and discover that I'm not pregnant, then the doctor is going to think that we lied to her and I still need her."

"And you're telling me that now that we've arrived?" She deadpanned as she stopped the car and I looked outside.

"Well, why were you driving so fast? Can't you drive slower?" I snapped at her.

"Oh, my God, are you listening to yourself? I'm at eighty, woman!"

"You were the one who said she wanted to go to breakfast; now that I want to eat, you don't want to take me," I complained and pouted.

"I'm not saying that I'm not going to take you, but I think you should see a doctor because your crisis is going too far."

I looked towards the gynecological center, and my day just got even worse when I saw Angel walking with Elisa.

"What the hell is Angel doing with Elisa?!" I shouted, and Amelia looked at them and then at me.

"There must be some explanation for it, Sofia."

"Explanation?! I'm going to give you an explanation. Angel is still in love with Elisa; he couldn't be without her; he thinks about her; he believes in her; everything is about her! He doesn't care that she's a lying bitch, and even though she's been cheating on him all this time, he's always going to choose her over me." "Sofia, try to calm down. Yes, Angel is here with Elisa, but it's probably because he must have a good reason."

"A reason?! Oh, my God, Amelia, they're probably back together! That's why he doesn't touch me or look for me because he has her!" My tears started falling again, and my chest was tight. "That's why he took me home yesterday and didn't break Dominik's face for flirting with me right under his nose because he didn't care!"

"Sofia, baby, look at me. Try to breathe; you are highly sensitive today. You are not thinking well and you are not reasoning well. You're a blabbering mess." Amelia tried to calm me, but her words barely reached me.

That bitch wants to take my husband away from me, and she will regret doing so.

"Sofia, are you even listening to me?"

"That bitch doesn't know who she messed with; she still hasn't understood that she can't touch, see, or even think about Angel. And he's a cheating bastard, but he's going to regret doing this to me."

"Look, Sofia, Harry is with them; it means they weren't alone. Something must have happened." She pointed out, but I don't care; I will make both of them pay. "Let's go back to the office, Amelia; I need to get back to Let-Tech."

"Didn't you want us to go to eat?" I narrowed my eyes at her. The last thing I want is to eat. "Okay, let's go back to the office, God! You're going to drive me crazy."

I came back to my office in a furious state. Amelia stayed with Isaac somewhere in the company, while I stayed here, imagining Angel and Elisa together. Anger is clouding my mind. Angel is going to discover who I am, and he is going to suffer. After this, Angel won't ever forgive Elisa, and he is also going to lose me because I am not an option. He can't turn to me when he realizes that his sweet appearance hides a demon."

I went to my computer and looked up all of Elisa's files that Isaac obtained from the clinic, along with other things I hadn't seen. I didn't care where they came from; I suspected it wouldn't be good news. Once I had them, I uploaded them to the internet through the IP that I had blocked. I entered a few codes, and within minutes, her face was all over social media.

"Let's see how you handle that, Elisa. When you see your little secret on social media, how will you explain to Angel that you had an abortion?" I deleted the doctor's name because my anger is not with the clinic. "Let's see what your family thinks when they find out that their holy daughter was capable of killing her own baby. Society is going to destroy you."

I arranged the files, along with the file I have with the Arab and how she deceived him. I also uploaded her affair with other men, the videos that Patricia gave me, and the abortion file. Once done, I enter the name of the supposed father, then press "send.". Ready to suffer, bitch?

But what if Angel doesn't take it well and kills her? Or will he kill me for making a fool of him? Oh, my God.

"Good afternoon." Dominik enters my office with that charming smile of his.

"Hello, is it already afternoon?" I asked in surprise, and he nodded.

"Yes, it's past lunchtime, and apparently, you haven't eaten."

"No, I've had a bit of a stressful morning, and... it hasn't been a good morning. Plus, I have a lot of work to do."

"So Angel didn't lie when he said you were busy with a lot of work?" he asked, leaning on my couch.

"Angel may have many defects, Dominik, but being a liar is not one of them." I found myself defending Angel. It bothers me that he thinks badly of Angel; no one messes with him except me.

"For the woman one loves, one can lie."

"Probably, but Angel hates lies, no matter what the concept is," I replied, changing the subject because talking about Angel irritates me. "I didn't know we had a meeting scheduled today."

He gave me an innocent smile. "We don't; I was around the corner, and I decided to drop by and ask if you wanted to go to lunch, and you can show me another part of the country that I didn't know before returning to Germany, but I see that you are busy."

I thought about it for a second. Angel can spend the whole day with Elisa, but I can't spend the afternoon with Dominik.

"You know what? I accept your invitation. I can't work and I need to distract myself, so I'll take you to see a part of the country that we haven't seen. We can have lunch and have a good time."

I turned off my phone because I knew that in a matter of minutes, it was going to explode, and I didn't want to know anything about it. I went with Dominik to the south of the capital; we visited some parks and museums; we ate; and we talked about random things. The afternoon passed until it was time to return home.

"It's always a good time with you, Sofia; I had fun today as well. Thank you for your time and for showing me your beautiful country."

"I can say the same thing. You know how to keep a girl interested and captivated; you make me forget my problems." I expressed my appreciation, and he turned serious.

"Sofia, I'm not blind to not realizing that there are problems between you and Angel."

"Dominik, we are like the other married couple, and we have our ups and downs."

"Sofia, you live in a house that you obviously don't like." I pursed my lips because I couldn't lie about that. "You go out dancing with a stranger in Germany, you made me a nice dinner, and you accepted my compliments even in front of him. I know that I am not indifferent to you, and if that happens, it is because you and Angel are not happy."

I licked my lips and sighed. "Listen, I'm not going to lie to you; you are a charming man, and any woman would be happy to have you. It is also true that Angel and I are currently going through some problems, but we are both too proud to take the first step."

"Love should not be about pride, but about making each other happy."

"I love my husband, and I know that he loves me," I told him confidently. "Yes, I'm upset with him, but I know that we are going to get through this, although right now maybe he is the one who is much more upset than I am because I think I did something I shouldn't have done." I found myself admitting with a frown.

I thought about the abortion, and that wasn't how he should have found out. After all, I know that this topic is sensitive to him.

"Sofia, you are a beautiful woman; you deserve to be happy, and I would be more than glad to be the one to do it."

"I know, but the heart wants what it wants, and as Angel said, you were already too late. I wouldn't change my husband for anything or anyone, even if I want to kill him ninety percent of the day."

Dominik let out a bitter smile. "I understand; I met the woman of my life, but she was already tied with papers. Angel is one lucky man." He took my hand and caressed it. "It was a pleasure to meet you and remember that you have a good friend and client in me. If things don't work out with Angel, you know where to find me, and I'll be waiting for you."

"Thank you, but I wouldn't do that. Don't worry, you will find the woman of your dreams one day."

"Be happy, Sofia," he said, giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, but I was shocked when I suddenly felt his lips on mine.

"Are you serious?"

I looked at him, and I knew I was in a lot of trouble.
