I love you till the end, Mr. Buenavista

DINNER

Samarra and Zachary sit in the MK lovers park, overlooking San Carlos Bay. They were anticipating the sunset. After gazing into the distance, Zachary turned to Samarra, leaning on his shoulder, and realized she was sleeping. He carefully examined her gentle face, removed a stray strand of hair, and placed it in her ear. He was almost looking at Samarra when his phone rang, and he snatched it from his pocket.

The caller is Mommy Lorraine.

Before answering the phone, he took a deep breath.

“How are you, Mom?”

“I’ll remind you, son, that Sam and you should be here by seven o’clock.” Zachary sighed as he looked Samarra in the eyes.

“Mom, we might not be able to go because my wife and I dated; she’s already asleep right now.” When Zachary heard his mother’s shrill scream, he removed his cellphone from his ear.

“Oh, my! Are you dating, son?” Even though his Mommy Lorraine couldn’t see him, he nodded.

“Samarra is sleeping, Mom. We’re at MK, and if it’s early, I’ll wait for her to wake up Mom before heading there.”

“Oh, if Sam is tired, don’t bother going anywhere… go home, huh? Do you get what I’m saying, Zach?”

“Yes, Mom.”

Zachary quickly turned off his cellphone and placed it back in his pocket.

Zachary adjusted Samarra’s head so she could lean adequately.

“You said we’d watch the sunset together,” he said to his sleeping wife, looking her in the eyes.

“Did I tell you that you’re the most beautiful in my eyes when you sleep?” Zachary returned his gaze to Samarra’s gentle face before turning to watch the sunset.

Samarra felt numbness in her neck, which she would have ignored if she had only felt someone kissing her.

“Hmm,” she grumbled sharply.

“Wake up, sleepyhead, it’s time to get up,” he said softly in her ear as if music to her ears.

“Five minutes, please,” she said, closing her eyes because she was tired.

“Come on, love. We’re still having dinner at Mom’s.”

She awoke quickly at four o’clock in response to Zachary’s words. OMG! Samarra, what happened to dinner? She harvested herself angrily.

“Gosh! Are we now late?” She shifted her gaze to Zachary, her eyes questioning him as well.

“No, we still have thirty minutes before dinner,” he says.

She looked up as he stood up and extended his palm to assist her standing, which she gladly accepted.

When Samarra noticed Zachary wasn’t blinking at her, she was devastated. Unsatisfied, he approached her and touched her face with both hands. Samarra filled her nose with the scent of his fragrant breath.

“W-why?” When he suddenly bent down to make them look at each other, she stuttered, a question she pulled back a little.

OMG! Is he about to kiss me?

“What?” she asked as he pressed his face against hers, their faces almost touching.

“You have dirt in your eye, love,” he said as he let go of his face and walked ahead of her.

Samarra gently touches her eyes. She is irritated when she notices no dirt in her eyes and follows Zachary’s gaze as he walks away from her. She dashed between them and, without hesitation, jumped behind him and piggybacked back on him.

“Whoa! We’ll fall for what you’re doing, Samarra.” Zachary instinctively placed both hands on Samarra’s thighs to keep her from falling.

“You tripped me up, didn’t you?” Samarra said this while biting Zachary’s ear.

“Ouch! Stop right there. You might slip, “Zachary chastised her as she bit his ear again. Samarra could see the redness on his face. Luh! Sensitive?

“Alright, take me down,” Samarra said when he noticed the people they met were staring at them.

“You’re already there to stand up,” Zachary said, jumping a little higher to fix his lift.

“Put me down. I’m embarrassed.”

“You’re still embarrassed when we’re close to the car, tsk! You will be embarrassed if you ride with another man.”

Samarra couldn’t speak the last thing Zachary said to her, and it seemed to hit her there. That’s correct, and there’s nothing wrong with seeing them hugging or being together because they’re married.

“Oh, do you have a plan to get off, or will I drive behind you?” Zachary’s question appears to have awakened Samarra’s spirit. She crouched behind him, embarrassed, and adjusted the hem of her shorts.

“See, if your shorts were short, I probably got into a fight with those looking at your legs,” Zachary said as he looked at her.

“Do you know what the words MOVE ON mean, Cadden?”

“Do not wear shorts outside the house. Are we clear?” She first looked at Zachary before nodding.

“Okay, fine. and I’m hoping we can make it to dinner on time.” Zachary assisted her into the passenger seat.

While Zachary was focused on driving, Samarra appeared restless in her seat, occasionally looking at Zachary. Every time she looked at him, she felt. Something was causing the pounding in her chest to become more intense. His sweet gestures, the ridiculous things he does to her, and the… The punishment was that, even though she had done nothing wrong, Zachary kissed her on occasion, and she did not object because she also enjoyed it.

Shit! Is this love? OMG! No… no… it can’t be! What on earth am I thinking? She shook her head and swallowed for the last time, returning her gaze to Zachary’s handsome face before looking out the window.

Zachary frowned as he looked at Samarra, who appeared deep in thought. He wanted to ask, but he held back when he noticed they were close to his parents’ mansion.

“We’re here.”

Samarra sighed as Zachary unbuckled his seatbelt and exited to turn around.

“Are you sure we’re not late yet?” she inquired as she exited the car. He nodded and took her hand in his, leading her into the mansion.

Mommy Lorraine and Daddy Calvin greeted them as soon as they walked into the mansion. She kissed Mommy Lorraine and hugged Daddy Calvin.Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

“It’s great that you made it. If you’re tired, I told Zach, we can do it another time.” Samarra immediately shook her head.

“I’m fine, Mommy Lorraine, and we’ll just have dinner together again.”

“Come on, when we can all eat,” Daddy Calvin said, holding Mommy Lorraine while she and Zachary followed them.

“Oh, Zek.”

Samarra’s gaze was drawn to the man standing nearby, holding a wine glass. He looked at them expectantly as if he had anticipated their arrival.

“What’s up?” Ezekiel asked, tapping Zachary on the shoulder; Samarra became nervous when he approached her and removed his hat.

“Miel, you seem to be having a good time on your date?” Ezekiel’s questioning of Samarra engulfed her. Because he perceived it as a taunt rather than a question, she couldn’t respond because she didn’t know how to express how much he enjoyed it. Samarra felt pressed against Zachary’s waist, so she turned her gaze away from Ezekiel and toward Zachary.

“Zek is wondering if you’re enjoying our dates. Why you’re astounded by that? You’re at a loss for words.”

Huh? What? Her eyes ask Zachary because she doesn’t understand what he’s saying.

“Zek, I believe my wife is hungry. She might devour me.”

Zachary squeezed her shoulder as they walked past Ezekiel, who was still standing near the dining area’s entrance. Samarra couldn’t even look at Ezekiel, but she felt his eyes on her.
