Chapter 1071: A Love Letter Every Day
Upon hearing this, Lucas fell silent as if pondering something.
After a moment, he said, "Then... should I reject them? After all, I'm still close to Uncle Brandon."
Sandy pretended to think for a moment and nodded, "Sure, help me reject them!"
Lucas agreed, sighing, "It seems like they won't have that chance!"
Sandy lightly rubbed Lucas's head with her hand, "It's alright, they'll meet better people in the future."
"Yeah," Lucas concurred.
Afterward, Lucas pulled out a bunch of crumpled papers from his pocket. "Aunt Sandy, since you
rejected them anyway, you might as well take a look at these. I'll consider my task completed."
Seeing the wrinkled notes in Lucas's hand, Sandy reached out and took them. "Why so many?"
"Well, it's because you're beautiful, and the boys in our class like you," Lucas replied.
Sandy chuckled, "What about you? Do you like me too?"
Lucas blushed, "Yes, but I'm a girl."
"Since you can't compete with your Uncle Brandon, why help your classmates compete with him?
Shouldn't you be on your Uncle Brandon's side?" Sandy asked.
Lucas hesitated for a few seconds before whispering, "Because I received something in return."
Sandy was slightly taken aback by his response and asked in a hushed tone, "What did you receive
from them?"
"I made them bring me snacks," Lucas admitted.
Upon hearing this, Sandy was momentarily speechless, then she inquired softly, "You received snacks
from them?"
"Yeah, I let them bring me delicious treats," Lucas explained.
Sandy sighed and tugged at Lucas's clothes. "You mustn't tell Uncle Brandon, or your mom and dad.
This is our secret."
Sandy nodded and then gave Lucas a serious look. "Lucas, you know, this isn't right."
"But I already ate their snacks," Lucas protested.
Sandy couldn't help but laugh.
"Then Aunt Sandy will buy snacks for you next time, and you can return them to your classmates,"
Sandy suggested.
Lucas thought for a moment. "Alright, but you don't need to return the love letters. It might hurt their
feelings."
Lucas had caught Sandy off guard with his antics that morning, leaving her feeling a bit bewildered.
She could only nod in response, "Alright."
Sandy was genuinely curious about what kind of love letters kindergarten boys would write, but she
refrained from opening them in front of Lucas.
"Lucas, it's time for school," Maya's voice echoed from the staircase.
"Aunt Sandy, I'll head to school now. You can read them secretly," Lucas said.
Sandy nodded, "Okay."
As Lucas made his way downstairs, Brandon walked into the room, gazing at the two crouched figures.
"Lucas, it's time for breakfast."
Lucas acknowledged, "Goodbye, Aunt Sandy."
With that, Lucas stood up, turning back to Brandon. "Uncle Brandon, can you give me a hug?"
Brandon crouched down and lifted Lucas into his arms. "What's wrong?"
Lucas hugged Brandon and gave him a peck. "All done."
Brandon chuckled and set Lucas down. "Go have your breakfast."
Lucas agreed and waved to both Brandon and Sandy before leaving the room.
"Take your time," Sandy called after him.
"Got it!"
After Lucas had gone downstairs, Brandon turned to Sandy. "What were you two talking about?"
Sandy waved the crumpled papers in her hand. "A secret."
Brandon stepped further into the room and approached Sandy. He reached out and took one of the
notes from her. "What's this?"
"A love letter," Sandy replied truthfully.
"A love letter?" Brandon was taken aback. He then recalled Lucas's behavior earlier. "Lucas gave this
to you?"
Sandy nodded. "He said the boys in his class all like me and wanted me to give them a chance."
Brandon sighed. "That little rascal is quite the matchmaker."
Sandy stifled a laugh. "I'm considering it."
When Brandon heard Sandy's response, his deep gaze landed on her face. "Considering it?"
Sandy nodded. "Lucas said they have the power to change appearances, but you're already 'fixed'."
Brandon paused for a moment. "..."
No wonder Lucas had been so affectionate earlier. It turned out he had a motive.
Brandon opened one of the notes and scanned its content. His brow furrowed slightly. "Can you even
read these?"
Sandy leaned in to take a closer look. "Of course, it's quite simple. There are two stick figures, and
there's even a heart in the middle."
Brandon chuckled. "Hold onto these well. Otherwise, no one will write you love letters anymore."
Sandy snorted lightly. Then a thought occurred to her, and she turned to Brandon with a mischievous
glint in her eyes. "Brandon, you've never written me a love letter. Why don't you write one? I'll only read
yours."
Brandon pulled Sandy into his arms. "What if I don't know how to write?"
Sandy teased, "Then I won't mind. But you have to write one every day."
"Is there a word limit?" Brandon inquired.
Sandy hesitated for a moment. "Well, yes. It can't be less than three hundred words."
Brandon leaned down and gave her a quick kiss. "Deal."
Sandy hadn't expected Brandon to agree so readily, and she looked at him in surprise. "Are you really
willing to write?"
"I can't let myself be outdone by kindergarten boys, can I?" Brandon replied.
Sandy burst into laughter at Brandon's response. "Are you actually jealous of little kids?"
Brandon gazed at her, his heart finally settling.
Although they had cleared up their misunderstandings the previous day, Brandon had still felt a bit
uneasy. Seeing Sandy so happy now put his mind at ease.
Stella had originally planned to stay in Viteto for a few days, but after breakfast, she received news
from Aurora that required her immediate return.

the airport.
"Alright, you can head back now," Stella said, lifting her suitcase. She looked at Brandon. "Take care of
Sandy for me."
Brandon nodded. "Don't worry, sis. I'll take good care of her."
Stella gave Sandy a nod before turning away and entering the boarding area.
After watching Stella leave, Brandon and Sandy walked away together.
