Her Life Starts to Spin out of Control

Chapter 86 Money Matters

Chapter 86 Money Matters

Colin was perplexed. "Where?"

"You can go to your Leila, Lola, Lisa or whatever. I'll cover for you when mom asks me." He

immediately wanted to end her generosity.

Colin's face darkened. "What do you want?"

Was she angry again? Sophia sat up straight, and gave the check back to him. "Just give me a 10-

million check. If you give me too much money, I'll get used to buying whatever I want." Spending

money is addictive!

"You can buy whatever you want. Don't hesitate to ask me for more if you want to." Colin didn't take the

check. He took some fish from the fish head with chopped peppers dish and put it on Sophia's rice.

Sophia almost gave in to the temptation but she shook her head quickly. "I'm afraid I might not be able

to pay you back after we divorce."

"If you can't pay me back, you can sign a contract and stay with me for the rest of your life."

Sophia was silent. Sophia thought about Colin's suggestion. Sign a contract and stay with him forever?

Something felt wrong with it.

"Put the check away and eat!" Colin took two bowls of mushroom soup, one for Sophia and the other

for himself.

But the number on the check was too high. Sophia was wondering how to refuse it when Colin said,

"Sophia, listen to me carefully. If you continue to buy cheap clothes in the pedestrian street again and

refuse to use my money, I'll never let you go back to A Country." Colin took a graceful sip of the soup

and added, "Do you believe me?"

Of course, Sophia believed him.

"But..."

"No. If I were you, I would take the check and get a car. Then buy pretty clothes and luxury bags that

women love so much. Then I would turn to my husband if the money runs out because he is rich."

Sophia was speechless. She put the check away, swallowing a mouthful of rice. "If you were a woman,

you'd be a siren! A siren willing to sell herself out to the highest bidder."

Colin hummed lightly and didn't deny her.

Sophia ate the fish and swallowed it down. "Colin, I don't want to buy bags and clothes because you've

already bought so many for me. It will be too wasteful to buy any more."

The man looked at her in despair. "A lot of people look down on you and want you to be miserable. You

can change and show them otherwise. It would be an achievement to improve yourself and be better

than them."

He certainly had a point there, but Sophia replied, "As a CEO, you're supposed to teach me to improve

inner beauty, like reading more." This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Colin looked up at her and said lightly, "You should talk about inner beauty after you've improved your

external beauty. You're still lacking in external beauty, so there is no need to discuss inner beauty with

you."

Sophia was so angry, she wanted to throw her chopsticks at Colin. "Fine! I'll do as you say. Prepare to

become bankrupt. I'll spend as much money as I can!'"

"Good, that's settled! Here's a credit card for you. There's no limit on it, and I'll have Mr. Ji pay for it. All

you need to do is to spend as much as you want." A black gold card was pushed to her.

Colin's words reminded Sophia of the saying, "You're responsible for making money for the family and

I'm responsible for my beauty."

Colin held a piece of pork and put it to her lips. Sophia opened her mouth and ate it by reflex. He said

lightly, "Right!"

Oh. Happiness came too suddenly. Before Sophia could enjoy the moment, the pork she ate almost

made her mouth explode.

She tried hard to swallow the pork as she ate some rice. She remained calm on the outside.

Beside her, Colin was eating his dinner gracefully and quietly. Suddenly, Sophia got an idea to prank

Colin. She ate more pork. "Colin, can I kiss you?"

He stopped eating, laying down his chopsticks and taking a sip of the juice.

He seemed to assent to the request. Sophia rushed to him and settled herself on his lap. As if Colin

would run away, she held his head tightly and kissed his lips.

The room fell into silence.

Oh God, the devil pepper was much spicier than what she had before!

The spicy flavor blew up in their mouths. After figuring out her intention, Colin smirked to himself.

Sophia felt better after passing some of the spicy flavor to Colin.

To see Colin's expression, she pushed him away. But to her disappointment, the man didn't seem

bothered at all.

Frustrated, she went back to her seat and drank more juice. The drink soothed the burn in her mouth.

At the same time, she didn't notice Colin filling his mouth with bamboo shoots.

The bamboo shoots had no pepper, and only its faint aroma spread in his mouth.

An hour later, they left the Hunan restaurant.

Sophia ran to buy a cup of milk tea. Since she liked the spicy flavor, she took time to eat all the pork in

the dish with Colin.

"Drink this. Wasn't the food too spicy for you? Without thinking, Sophia put the milk tea she had drunk

to his lips.

Yes. It felt good.

Colin didn't like milk tea.

But the memory of spilling the noodles last time made him take a sip of the milk tea with pearl beans.

The car slowly entered Colin's villa, and Sophia's spicy red lips were very attractive.

After parking the car, Colin couldn't help himself any longer. He pressed Sophia onto the car and kissed

her hungrily.

My goodness! Her lips still tasted spicy. Having just soothed himself from the spicy flavor, Colin got a

taste of it again.

In the Bedroom.

After taking a shower and brushing her teeth, Sophia walked out of the bathroom.

Dressed in a bathrobe, Colin was outside the bathroom. He was leaning on her sofa and looking at a

pile of things. Taking a good look, Sophia found he was looking at the letters she had brought back

from A Country.

Sophia and Hugh's letters!

"Colin, what are you doing?" Sophia ran to him and tried to take the letters back.

She remembered putting them in the bedside drawer. How did Colin find them?

The more she wanted to take them back, the more Colin didn't want to give them to her. When she

tried to grab them again, Colin held her steadily in his arms. He raised the letters with an outstretched

hand as he continued reading the letters.

This time, he read it out loud. The letter was written by Sophia. "Where will I be in ten years? And what

will I be doing by then?"

"Colin, stop reading! Why are you so annoying?" Sophia kept jumping to get them back, but failed to

reach them because he was so tall.

Colin turned to another page. "Today, I saw the sports committee member in the stadium. Many girls

like him a lot. Why do I feel nothing for him? And the..."

"No, no, no! Colin, stop it! I'll cry if you keep reading!"

Sophia was clutching and scratching him helplessly. What a bastard! So annoying!

Colin folded the letters and put them on top of a wall lamp, where Sophia couldn't reach. He could

easily continue reading them next time.

Sophia seethed in silence.

Clenching her teeth, she jumped as high as she could, but still failed to reach them.

When she jumped again, the man held her tightly in arms. "Sophia, stop writing letters to Hugh."
