Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 71

Third-Person Narrative.

When the triplet alphas got to the dungeon early the next morning to banish Gwen from the pack, they were surprised to meet a very gory sight.

There was b***d everywhere, and Gwen being covered in her pool of b***d was not a sight they had planned to see that morning.

They were also surprised to see that Lucas Amel was nowhere in the picture, which made them conclude that he must have had something to do with Gwen being dead.

When they interrogated the guard that was supposed to watch over the dungeon. He said that when he heard the sound, he tried going to see what had happened, but that was when Lucas Amel ran out after hitting him forcefully, which resulted in him passing out.

The triplet did not believe his story and immediately asked that he be arrested.

They asked the other guards present to get Gwen’s body out and prepare it for burial.

Denver asked Derrick to go with some of their men to ensure that Gina’s parents were fine. He asked Devon to go tell Gina what had happened.

He decided that he would torture the guard until he told him what truly happened and how Lucas Amel got away.

“I don’t understand. What do you mean by Gwen being dead?” Gina questioned Devon, who had come to inform her that they found Gwen’s lifeless body in the dungeon.

She had just woken up from sleep and was going to shower before heading to the kitchen when Devon entered her room.

“We have a reason to believe that she was killed by Lucas Amel,” he said calmly.

“Oh my goodness, But why, I mean, why would he do something so despicable as that? I thought he loved her very much,” she said, unable to comprehend the type of monster Lucas Amel was.

It was one thing for Gwen to have been killed by someone else, but to be killed by the man she called her father must have been terrifying for her.

“Yes, he loved her very much; when he thought she was his daughter, I guess he just couldn’t stand the fact that she was not his,” Devon said, and from his mood, she could tell that Gwen was in a horrible state when they found her.

She couldn’t help but feel sorry for Gwen; thinking of all that bastard did to her while she was locked up in his dungeon made her feel even more sorry for Gwen.

“He is a monster. Such wickedness, and where is he now?” she questioned, as her emotions gradually started boiling into a rage.

“That’s another problem; he was not in the dungeon this morning when we got there,” Devon said with a deep sigh as he sat at the edge of my bed.

“What? But how did he get away?” Gina questioned.

Gina was even more traumatized by this new piece of information. She knew Lucas Amel was capable of many things, but it never occurred to her that he would ever raise his hand again. Gwen?

“The same question my brothers are asking the guards that were supposed to keep watch over them last night,” he said.

“Oh my god, my parents, what about my parents? He is going to try to hurt them,” she panicked, as she was at that moment desperate to get everyone that she loved out of the reach of that monster.

“I don’t think so; I would think he would have run away to seek shelter somewhere else,” Devon, who was beginning to sense Gina’s fear, said.

“But what if he goes after my parents or me? If he could kill Gwen, what would stop him from killing me?” she questioned hysterically.

“Hey, babe, relax; we will find him. We have already started talking about printing flyers that will be distributed among the pack members and the neighboring packs where we suspect he might want to take shelter. I am sure he will be found in no time,” Devon explained calmly.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“I still need to make sure my parents are fine, Gina insisted.

“They are fine; you can count on that, but now you know we can’t let you stay alone here. My father has said that you have to move into the palace, as it is obvious that you were the one the prophecy talked about,” Devon was saying when Gina said.

“But, I don’t…” she was saying when Devon quickly cut her.

“Gina, please, I don’t want us arguing this; you should stay where we can keep a better watch over you,” Devon pleaded.

“Fine, I will move into the main house, but I have to see my parents; I need to make sure they are fine,” Gina insisted.

“Derrick is already on his way to ensure that they are safe. We could have them move into the palace if that pleases you,” he said to her.

“I don’t know if they would agree to it because they refused it the other time,” Gina said.

“Then, they were not sure of your being our Luna, but now they have no reason not to move into the palace,” Devon calmly said to her.

Third-person narrative.

Trees and the ground beneath went by quickly as he chased after a deer with the hope of hunting it down and having a decent meal for himself.

It has been over six days since Lucas Amel has been roaming in the woods as a rogue; he was getting tired of constantly being on the run and watching over his shoulders.

He had little or no money with him after he was robbed on the night he ran out of the silver moon pack. He knew the triplets were searching for him all over, and that the news of how he murdered Gwen had gone viral.

The triplet had gone as far as placing a considerable sum of money on him as a bounty for anyone who could provide them useful information as to how to arrest him.

After chasing the deer nonstop, he soon realized he couldn’t catch up with it, so he decided to take a rest under a tree.

He was so hungry that his stomach was beginning to make various unpleasant sounds.

He never thought that the life of a rogue could be so hard and stressful.

His mind slowly drifted back to when Lucia told him that Gwen was not his daughter and that the slave girl he had been maltreating was his real daughter.

It still felt like a horrible nightmare to him; he felt so betrayed by the gods and his alpha mistress that he felt they deliberately picked on him.

He was also saddened by the fact that Gina never bothered to come and look for him all the time he was locked up in the dungeon.

That was a clear indication to him that Gina didn’t care about him; he felt terrible, and the more he thought about it, the more furious he became toward Gina.

Realizing that Gins may never consider him a father, he made up his mind that he was better off without anyone.

To him, Gina will never get to be that daughter that he wanted, and if he can’t have her call him father, then she and her triplets are better off dead.

Left with no option, he decided to go back to one of the packs that he had allied with to seek shelter and vengeance.

On getting there, he is taken to the alpha, and the alpha is not so pleased to see him.

“What do you want here, Lucas?” alpha Darius questioned him as soon as he entered his pack house.

“To finish what we have started, to take over the throne,” he answered the alpha.

Why should I trust a man who killed his daughter? Questioning the alpha.

“She was not my daughter, and I didn’t kill her; that triplet bastard did and framed me up with it,” he argued.

“Really? And what makes you think that I will be willing to work with you in taking over the kingdom?” asked the alpha.

“I know that you have lost numerous men, but I am still your only assurance of victory. I very well know that palace like the back of my hands, and I can assure you that you and your pack alone cannot give you that victory that you so much want. I have a few other packs that crave the same thing as you, and if we all can work together, then we will overthrow the kingdom,” he said.

“And why should I believe you?” questioned the alpha.

“I am a man who has lost everything, and right now, before I die, I just want to see the alpha king and his triplets fail and be driven out of the kingdom or sold into slavery. I want them to suffer the same as I have suffered,” he said with so much bitterness in his voice.

“I will give you this last opportunity to redeem yourself and prove to me that you truly support my pack more than the Silver Moon pack. And as for you calling other packs to support, there will be no need for that. I have already organized for over one thousand men that would be matching towards the silver moon pack to crumble everyone and everything they hold dear,” Darius said to Lucas.

After which, he asked Lucas to go to one of the rooms in the pack house and that some maids would be sent over to attend to his needs.

He did as he was told, and once he was in his room, his mind slowly shifted to Gina.

He knew she was the reason he had decided to join this pack to fight against his formal pack. Despite coming to know that Gina was his child, it did not deter the fact that she has caused him so much unrest since she came into his life.

He felt he was better off without a child, as he was going to make sure that Gina was dead before the end of the war.
