Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 645

Selene kept her lips sealed. They hadn't figured out Flora's identity, and she wasn't about to spill the beans.

"Come on, let's not freak out. How could Flora possibly be that woman? I mean, would someone of her status really lower herself to work in a tiny lab at the University of Maple Grove?" Yeah, right...

That woman was someone everyone feared. There's no way she'd be a freshman, let alone hang out in some small lab.

"Hey, who exactly is this woman you're talking about?" Orla asked, looking completely lost.

Who indeed...

They couldn't just say it was the person who killed her sister, could they?

They exchanged uneasy glances, unsure how to break it to Orla.

Finally, an older sister gave her a quick rundown.

After listening, Orla's face turned cold.

Even though she and Susan were sisters, they weren't close. When Susan died, Orla's sadness was just an act.

She already didn't like Flora, and now knowing Flora looked like the person who killed Susan, a weird feeling bubbled up inside her.

Now she had a legit reason to hate Flora-not out of jealousy, but because she resembled her sister's murderer.

She had no qualms about making Flora's life tough during the competition.

After all, it wasn't her fault Flora had that face.

...

Before they knew it, competition day was here.

This event had everyone talking, not just nationwide but worldwide, and it was all going down at the University of Maple Grove's sports hall. The place was packed with media. Luckily, the sports hall was big enough to handle the crowd.

All the students from the University of Maple Grove were in the stands, a mix of nerves and excitement.

A bunch of drones buzzed overhead,

adding to the chaos. Dr. Ray gave

Flora and the others a quick rundown of the rules before letting them roam free.

Flora scanned the crowd; Kaylee, Eilies, and Cynthia were waving like maniacs, shouting, "Go, Flora!"

She waved back, then her eyes landed on Raul, Henrik, and Connor, who was sporting a black mask.

Aside from some specific media and

folks from the University's medical department, outsiders weren't

allowed, but contestants could bring family.

Raul and Henrik were there to cheer Flora on.

They were pissed off by the online chatter; to them, Flora was the best. They were ready to see her shut everyone up.

Flora started walking towards them, and every eye in the hall followed her.

She rocked a lab coat, her hair in a ponytail, hands stuffed in her pockets, looking totally chill but giving off an undeniable aura of power. Mr. Atticus couldn't help but look her way.NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Her back reminded him of that woman on the island, making him break out in a sweat.

No way, they couldn't be the same person.

He shook his head hard, looking away.

"Don't worry, teacher, we've got this!" Orla said, clenching her fist with confidence.

They were dead set on crushing the University of Maple Grove's team.

Brianna had also shown up, bringing Ivan and the gang along. She was there to support Selene, or so she said

definitely not there for Flora, no way!

"Sis, you look like an angel in that lab coat!"

"Cut it out with the flattery." Selene grinned, giving her a playful flick on the forehead.
