Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 542

Libby stared at the fiendishly difficult questions, feeling a cold sweat forming in her palms. Thankfully, Alexa had tutored her, so she was familiar with most of the questions on the paper. They weren't exactly the same, but the types of questions were similar.

As she listened to the groans and complaints from her classmates, a smirk crept onto Libby's lips. She had a feeling that this time, her score would be exceptionally high, leaving the others far behind. Libby glanced over at Flora, only to find her already deep into answering the questions. Her pen moved swiftly, almost as if she didn't need to think. A flicker of disdain passed through Libby's eyes; she assumed Flora was just scribbling down answers haphazardly. After all, these questions had many traps, and even she couldn't answer them with such ease. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

Turning away from Flora, Libby focused on her own paper. Twenty minutes into the exam, while most students had only managed to tackle a third of the questions, Flora stood up, paper in hand, and walked to the front to submit her test. The teacher gave her a surprised look but didn't say anything; the school had no rules against submitting early.

At 2 PM, during the third exam, the moment the test papers were handed out, the students nearly had a collective meltdown.

"Oh, come on! Does it have to be this hard? Are they trying to make us fail?"

Tears were wiped away as they struggled through the questions. Yet again, twenty minutes into the exam, Flora submitted her paper and left the classroom. Watching her confident departure, Libby felt a sudden surge of anxiety. Could it be that Flora really knew all the answers? No! Impossible! Her cousin had told her that Flora was weak, especially despised in the lab. She had barely attended any lectures; how could she possibly know all the answers? At best, she could do a bit and guess the rest.

After three grueling days and seven exams, it was finally over. The papers were quickly marked by the faculty, and scores were released almost immediately after the exams concluded. However, the department's chat group was filled with lamentations; everyone was too scared to check their scores. The exam questions were exceptionally difficult, with very few manageable ones. Without a doubt, the report cards were a sight for sore eyes!

Cynthia, on the other hand, was ecstatic! She felt she had done remarkably well, all thanks to Shawn's study materials. Once Flora received the materials from Shawn, she shared them with the group. Cynthia and Eilies each printed a copy. Shawn's notes were meticulously detailed, clarifying many complex concepts at a glance. Shockingly, five or six questions from the materials appeared on the exam!

Cynthia excitedly logged onto the grading website. Out of seven subjects, aside from one scoring eighty, the rest were all above seventy. Eilies' scores were similar, neither significantly outperforming the other. Their grades were considered quite good. Given the difficulty of the questions, failing was common, and passing was rare.

"Thanks to Flora! Thanks to Shawn! I passed everything! Flora, tell me what you want to eat, I'll buy it right now!" Cynthia was so happy she rolled around on her bed.

"All you think about is food," Eilies retorted, then turned to Flora with keen eyes. "Flora, how much did you score?"

"I haven't checked yet."

"Come on! We'll check it for you!"

"Sure." Flora nodded nonchalantly, grabbing her jacket to get off the bed. "I have things to do, I'll head out first."

Shawn had messaged her, saying he was waiting downstairs. Eilies and Cynthia watched her leave efficiently, somewhat speechless.
