Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 489: It’s So Cruel

“You’re useless!” Stephen snapped at him. An idea dawned on him afterward, and he turned to stride back to the lab.

He kicked the door open with great force.

There was only a large area of bloodstain on the surgery bed.

“Go find them now!” Stephen shouted.

Kylie escaped from the window carrying Dinah, who was dying on her back.

It turned out that they weren’t in Garbo Palace No. 1 at all.

This villa was nothing more than a piece of 3D cardboard, behind which was wilderness. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Not only had Stephen told the staff member in the law firm to drug her water, but he also had made a house that looked exactly the same as Garbo Palace No. 1?

“Look, there is bloodstain!” someone said.

Kylie glanced at the ground. Dinah was still bleeding, and the thick blood was flowing down through her legs.

“Kylie…” Dinah was out of energy now. “Escape alone. Y-You can’t leave with me.”

“No, I won’t abandon you here!” Kylie did everything she could to support Dinah and stumbled ahead.

Footsteps were moving near behind them, and Kylie was soon exhausted.

She fell all of a sudden, and Dinah rolled down from her back. They were about to be caught by Stephen’s bodyguards.

At this key moment, a tall, strong figure showed up in front of Kylie. “Get in the car.”

Kylie raised her head, and light streamed down by the man’s shoulders. She squinted for a while, then said with surprise, “Tory? What are you doing here?”

“Do you want to hear my explanation right now?” Tory pointed at nearby trees.

They could see bodyguards chasing over through the gaps.

“Dinah, hold on!” Kylie pulled Dinah, who was about to fall unconscious, up. Tory moved a step forward and carried Dinah in his arms without delay.

His car was stopped not far away. Kylie apologized for the second she was in the car. “I’m so sorry about dirtying your car.”

Tory took out a blanket from the trunk and threw it to Kylie before sitting on the driver’s seat and started the car.

Right when the engine began to work, the group of bodyguards ran out of the trees.

“There! Don’t let her escape!” Some of them hit the car windows with great force, while some of them pulled the car doors with violence.

Kylie was scared and hugged Dinah in her arms. She covered her head in the blanket, avoiding meeting their eyes.

Tory slammed on the accelerator, and a few bodyguards who were still pulling the car doors were dragged down.

The car dashed ahead, and those bodyguards chased them behind. The next second, the car made a quick U-turn and rapidly moved towards those bodyguards.

With several loud sounds, someone rolled over from the top of the car.

Kylie didn’t dare raise her head again until the car moved far away. “I-Is he dead?” she asked in fear.

Tory smiled. “He’s fine. He probably just broke several bones.”

Hearing that, Kylie was relieved. She looked at Dinah and found out Dinah was already unconscious now. “Would you please send us to the hospital? I’m afraid Dinah is dying.”

“He’s a doctor, and you still want to send her to the hospital?” Tory gave Kylie a glance from the rear-view mirror.

“W-What should we do now?” Kylie wasn’t in the mood to think why Tory knew Stephen so well.

“Miss Finch, if you don’t mind, there is a doctor in my place,” Tory said.

“Thank you so much!” Kylie compressed her lips. “Thank you again on behalf of Dinah.”

Tory turned around to glance at them, then smiled at Kylie. “I think Dinah should thank you.”

After the doctor did everything he could, Dinah survived.

“How is she now?” Kylie asked in a hurry.

“It’s so cruel.” The doctor was Italian. He shook his head and said, “She woke up once and told me to keep her baby under any conditions.”

Kylie was shocked. “How is the baby? Is the baby still alive?”

“No, her womb is seriously damaged, and she can’t be pregnant again in the future,” the doctor said, then he talked to Tory in Italian for a while before he left with Tory’s permission.

“What? Why?” Kylie leaned against the wall and burst into tears.

The scene where Dinah lay on the delivery bed in blood appeared in her sight again and again. She knew who had done the abortion to Dinah!

Stephen, how can you be so cruel to your own woman and baby?

A big palm fell on her shoulder.

Kylie turned and saw Tory’s eyes, which were full of concern. “The doctor told me that the patient isn’t in a good mood, so you better not tell her the truth.”

“I won’t.” Kylie nodded. “Mr. Romeo, thank you so much for what you’ve done today, but…”

“But why did I show up there?” Tory smiled. He made an elegant hand gesture to invite Kylie to walk ahead. “Miss Finch, what kind of person do you think I am?”

“I think you’re a good person,” Kylie said with certainty.

Tory shook his head. “I don’t think so.”

“We Italians always say that black is also white, and white is also black.”

“The definition of a good person changes in different people’s eyes.”

Kylie followed Tory to the garden. “You teach Ben to be a real man, so you’re a good father in Ben’s eyes.”

“You’ve rescued Dinah and me. You’re also a good person in our eyes, no matter how you treat others.”

“Miss Finch, you’re very smart.” Tory gave her a thumbs-up. “Well, I’m afraid I’m a bad person in your husband’s eyes.”

Kylie was surprised, then soon figured out Tory’s meaning. “Are you the drug buyer?”

“Yeah,” Tory admitted it. “Mr. Brown is a genius. He can produce such a profitable drug at a reasonable price. There is no reason for me not to cooperate with him.”

“Mr. Brown?” Kylie didn’t understand why Tory called Stephen Mr. Brown.

“Oh, I know you call him Clown,” Tory said.

When Kylie was about to ask more questions, someone told them that Dinah was awake.

Kylie ran back to the ward as fast as she could. Dinah’s face was pale, and her dulled eyes were fixed on the infusion bag above her head.

“Dinah, how do you feel now?” Kylie caught her cold hands tight.

“Kylie.” Dinah turned to look at Kylie at a slow pace. Floods of tears flowed down by the corners of her eyes, and the pillow was wet within seconds. “M-My b-bay.”

Kylie glanced at Tory, who stood aside, then smiled at Dinah. “It’s still alive. The doctor said it’s fine.”

Dinah couldn’t believe this news and kept crying, but there was a smile on her lips. She did her best to reach her hand down to touch her belly.

Kylie felt so sorrowful that she was afraid she would lose control of herself and cried out, and Dinah would find out it was just a lie.

The smile wasn’t very natural on her face now, and she pulled Dinah’s hand to touch the belly. “Here, it’s fine.”

“My baby is… is only 40 days. I-I lost s-so much blood…”

“Dinah? Dinah!”

Dinah fell unconscious again under great excitement.
