Chapter 33 You Don’t Even Know What Is Good for You
Chapter 33 You Don’t Even Know What Is Good for You
Jason had no expressions, he just said coldly, "You can go now."
Liam nodded. It seemed to him that Jason had returned to his cold indifferent self; but he still hadn’t
played with Vincent to his heart’s content, so he said, "OK, I'll go now! But before I leave, I have play
with him some more! "
"OK, then play carefully. We will leave first. Have fun!"
Before Jason left, he warned Liam to be careful.
"Don't worry, bro! I have discretion." Liam assured him cheerfully. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Jason and Felicity left the bridge.
Even though the situation was fortunately resolved, Felicity still felt a little shaken.
Unexpectedly, Jason knew Liam. It seemed like she really underestimated his reach.
Then, Felicity thought of the movie again, and asked tentatively, "Do you still want to go to the
cinema?"
"Of course!" Jason said positively.
After that, they went to the cinema to watch a movie.
Jason didn’t usually eat snacks. However, Felicity was of the opinion that only soulless robots didn’t eat
anything while watching a movie.
The waiter at the snack bar eagerly introduced them the items, "You can try this couple’s meal, it’s our
best seller."
Felicity’s face went a bit red and she wanted to clarify that they were not a couple.
However, Jason suddenly said, "We will take it then."
"Okay, just a moment."
The waiter answered and went to prepare.
After it was prepared, Jason picked it up and the two went to the tickets counter to buy tickets.
"What movie do you want to see?" Jason inquired.
"Umm… I don't know what was released recently. Let’s just ask them."
Actually, Felicity really wanted to see a new romantic movie but she felt like watching a romantic movie
with Jason might feel a little inappropriate.
So, she didn't say anything.
Jason and Felicity walked to the counter together and asked, "Do you have any recommendations on
what to watch?"
The receptionist looked at the them and nodded, seemingly understanding something. She said
sweetly, "How about this new romantic movie. It’s really good!"
"Do you want to see it?"
Jason had never heard of the film, so he asked Felicity.
"Yeah, I’d like to. What do you think?"
Felicity had since long wanted to see this movie, but she didn’t want to sound too obvious.
"Yeah, let’s watch this one. Two tickets, please."
Jason paid the money.
When they walked into the theater, they looked around and found it filled with affectionate couples on
movie dates.
Felicity and Jason were maybe the only ones not holding hands or holding each other's arms, which
made them look out of place.
Felicity was a little embarrassed. She sat down quickly beside Jason. The couples on either side were
all nestling together and talking sweetly in low voices.
Jason spoke very little, and Felicity too did not speak much. They both sat in silence throughout the
movie.
…
After the movie finished, Felicity felt very happy.
"So, where are you going now?"
Jason saw that it was late and asked her, ready to send her back.
"Campus."
After all, the company was still closer to the university campus.
"Okay, I'll drop you off."
With that, Jason drove Felicity back to the campus.
…
After returning to school, Felicity said goodbye to Jason and started to walk towards her dormitory.
But suddenly, Lucas stepped in front of her, blocking her way.
Felicity frowned, not wanting to argue and tried to walk around him.
But more students surrounded her, blocking her way.
"Why is today so troublesome?"
Felicity quietly complained in her heart.
"Lucas, what do you want now?"
Jason hadn’t left. Seeing the situation, he couldn't help stepping forward and asking.
Lucas raised his eyebrows, looked mockingly at Jason and asked harshly, "Were you fired from the
company? Do you still want to know what I can do? What can this jobless pretty boy give you, Felicity?"
"Please get out of the way."
Felicity’s face turned cold and hard.
"No! I won’t. What can you do about it?"
Lucas relied on the large number of his cronies and the time of the night when not many people were
walking around. It seemed like he wanted to take advantage of the situation to get revenge.
"Go away!"
Jason didn't want to say more. He just spitted out two words coldly. He seemed to be emanating icy
cold anger from his body.
He didn't expect that measly company like the Branson Group could raise such a little arrogant
asshole.
Even saying this was not enough to describe him.
"Ha ha! Today you came on your own two feet to find death!"
Lucas sneered and motioned for his friends to come close.
There were seven or eight people beside Lucas. Each of them looked murderous, and walked
menacingly towards Jason.
Felicity couldn’t stay quiet. What kind of a man was he trying to overcome just the two of them with so
many people?
"Lucas Branson, this is the university campus. If you continue to mess around, I will tell the security
department immediately!"
Felicity shouted at him angrily, trying to warn them.
"Hah! You think you can scare me with that? You should have considered yourself lucky that I saw you
as a woman, you ungrateful bitch, you don’t even know what is good for you! "
Lucas was not afraid of Felicity's threat, he approached Jason step by step and said in a strange way,
"Today, this little pretty boy is going to learn a lesson! However, if you want to plead to me nicely and
make him kneel down before me, I may let you go!"
"He will never kneel before you! Who are you to bring so many people and try to force one person into
doing what you want?"
Felicity anxiously shielded Jason and shouted angrily at Lucas.
Who was this little idiot? She knew she was no match for these grown men but she still chose to
protect him and stand her ground righteously with so much strength!
Jason was slightly moved by her, but he didn’t show it on his face.
He just curled up the corners of his mouth in a sneer and snapped his fingers.
From the dark, five or six bodyguards clad in black suddenly appeared and surrounded Lucas and his
cronies in a second.
