Meanwhile, Hannah who was seen in her office going through her computer jumped up from her chair when she heard the door burst open.

She put her hand on her chest as she saw Brandon.

“You scared me, could you please knock whenever you are about to get in? ” she asked but then paused when she saw the look on his face.

“What’s wrong?” She asked.

“You were the one who hired Jessica, her attention is needed in the company and she’s nowhere to be found” he yelled and she raised her eyebrows wondering why she wasn’t at the company yet.

“I’ll call her,” she said and then brought out her phone to call Jessica. She answered the phone call immediately.

“Jessica, where are you?” Hannah asked.

“I… I’m still in bed” Jessica muttered in her sleeping tone.

“Oh my goodness!” Hannah muttered as she realized Jessica was still in bed and it seemed like her call was what had woken her up.

Brandon stared at Hannah and took the phone from her.

“Jessica you are fired!” He yelled and the sleep in Jessica’s eyes disappeared at once.

“Damn!” Jessica muttered as she sat up on the bed and dropped her phone on the headstand.

She was in a deep sleep when Hannah’s call woke her up. She was dreaming about Matthew.

She missed him so much and just wanted to see him but she knew it was already too late as he had already gone back to Houston.

She sighed as she stood up from the bed. She needed to move on with her life and stop thinking about Matthew.

She walked inside the bathroom, took her bath, and then put on her clothes and decided to rush to the company even though she knew she was late and Brandon had already fired her.

Who knows he might give her a second chance but then on a second thought. She decided not to go to the company anymore.

Meanwhile, Hannah who is seen in her office snatched her phone back from Brandon.

“Why would you do that?” She asked and then he sighed.

“She’s been fired and a replacement for her position will be hired tomorrow,” Brandon said and was about to leave when he paused and turned to Hannah.

“It’s almost 2 pm, we don’t want Mr. Daniel to be waiting. We would be leaving in the next five minutes” he said and with that, he walked out of the office.

Hannah sighed and sat back on her chair.

She definitely would not be able to save Jessica this time. She’s lost the job for good, she tried her best, she thought as she packed some files and her phone and put In her hand bag ready to leave.

She then walked out of the company and went to the underground garage where Brandon’s car was.

She opened the car door and walked inside the car.

She stared at Brandon who was already in the car and then looked away.

“I’m sorry for earlier, I didn’t mean to get mad. I was just trying to tell you Jessica isn’t fit for the job.

He ignited the engine and zoomed off.

The black car screeched to a halt in front of the hotel. Hannah and Brandon alighted the car and they both walked inside the restaurant.

Everyone kept staring at them with admiration as they walked inside. They were looking so good as they walked side by side like the power couple that they are.

Just then a receptionist walked towards them.

“You must be Mrs. And Mrs Colby, come with me,” the receptionist said and Hannah and Brandon stared at each other before following the receptionist.

They walked down the hallway till they got to a room. They entered the room and saw a few men and some ladies drinking.

Two men In suits were seen playing snooker. It was Mr Daniel and his assistant.

“Mr Colby and his wife are here,” his assistant said as Hannah and Brandon walked towards them.

Mr Daniel turned and then smiled as he saw Brandon.

Hannah felt a deep wave of shock run through her the moment she saw Mr Daniel.

“Mr Colby, nice meeting you,” the man said as they both shook hands.

“Nice meeting you Mr. Andrew” Brandon said and then Daniel turned to Hannah who was in shock and then a look of surprise also appeared on his face.
