“I think she’s got the job already, your wife hired her-”

“What?” He muttered and the frown on his face deepened. The elevator came to a stop on the last floor. He didn’t waste any time and walked out of the elevator and went to Hannah’s office.

The door to Hannah’s office burst open revealing Brandon and Liam.

Jessica and Hannah turned immediately after he walked in.

“What the hell is going on? Why would you hire her?” Brandon asked with a furious look on his face.

“And why wouldn’t I hire her?” Hannah asked in response.

“She can’t work here Hannah, I have my reasons,” Brandon said as he turned to Jessica.

“Why can’t I work here, Hannah already hired me,” Jessica said.

“You are fired, Jessica”

“What?” Both Hannah and Jessica yelled at once.

“I haven’t even started working yet and you already fired me,” she said with a look of horror on her face.

“Why would you fire her?” Hannah asked.

“Because this is my company and I have every right to fire her,” Brandon muttered.

“And I’m the COO of this company and I have every right to hire her. Jessica, you are hired” Hannah said

“No, you are fired,” Brandon said as he clenched his fist and gritted his teeth looking angry.

“No, you are hired-”

“And you are fired! Jessica, you can’t work here, leave the same way you came” Brandon said and with that, he walked out of the office looking so furious.

Jessica turned to Hannah.

“You are hired, I would talk to him,” she said and then turned to Liam.

“Show her to her new office,” she said and with that, she walked out of her office and went to Brandon’s office.

She opened the door and walked inside the office, there she met Brandon standing by the window staring outside the company with his hands in his pocket.

“Brandon” she called and he sighed and turned to her.

“We need to talk,” they both said in unity and then sighed.

“You go first,” Brandon said as he sat on his chair.

“Why did you not want to hire Jessica? You should be happy she’s willing to work” Hannah said and Brandon scoffed.

“Are you kidding me? I’m fucking in love with you, I have never felt this way with anyone the way I feel when I’m around you.

The thought of you alone drives me crazy and makes me feel like a madman. It makes me lose control” he said as he stood up and moved closer to her.

Hannah swallowed into nothing as their eyes locked together. They could feel the tension rising between the both of them, their heart running a marathon race.

Hannah looked away from him trying to hold herself from kissing him.

He wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer to himself while staring at her lips.

“We can’t blame her, Brandon, we can’t blame anyone for what happened.

Just give her a chance to work here” Hannah managed to say calmly but then Brandon didn’t say a word.

He glared at her with love in his eyes, he leaned closer and then their lips met in a passionate kiss.

As they both kissed, she felt her heartbeat increased more as the kiss became passionate. She wrapped her hands around his neck as she drew closer to him, giving in fully to the kiss.

The tension between them was increasing every second that passed by but then Brandon quickly pulled away so things would not get out of control.

Hannah felt her cheeks turn red and then looked away from him.

“If you want more you could tell me,” he said and she hit him lightly on his chest making him smile.

He went back to his seat and sat on it while staring at Hannah who was now shy and playing with her fingers.

“She’s hired. I know she will quit soon, she’s lazy and won’t be able to work” Brandon said and Hannah smiled.

“She might want to prove you wrong,” she said and he scoffed. She gave him one last glance and with that, she walked out of the office and went to her office.

The moment she got to her office, she met Jessica sitting on the couch staring around.

“What did he say?” She stood up the moment Hannah walked in.

“You got the job, he’s not going to fire you,” Hannah said and Jessica smiled and heaved a sigh of relief.

She wondered how Hannah was able to convince Brandon to let her work in the company. She knows Brandon so well that once he makes his decision, nothing can change his mind.

She smiled, now she knows Hannah is the best choice for Brandon.

Liam on the other hand walked inside Brandon’s office and dropped a file on his table.

“This needs to be signed, it’s to finalize the contract with the K-Brothers,” Liam said Brandon nodded and signed immediately then smiled at Liam.

Liam hummed, he wondered why he was in such a good mood now, he was angry a few minutes ago and now he’s happy.

“You seem to be in a good mood, might share what is making you happy, I would love to share in your happiness too,” Liam said as he smiled.

“My wife is the one who is making me happy and I don’t share. Go find your happiness, oh you can’t, I forgot you are single”
