Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 865

Chapter 865

After around 40 minutes, someone knocked on the ward door.

As if afraid that Theodore might flare up again, Aurora spoke up from outside the door, "Mr. Spencer, it's me."

Theodore said, "Come on in."

Upon getting his permission, Aurora opened the door and walked in before carefully shutting the door behind her.

The wound on her forehead had been treated. Her face looked pale, vulnerable, and pitiful-she was the type that men would fall for easily.

A pity that the heart of the man before her belonged to another woman. Aurora made her appearance too late.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

She walked uneasily to Theodore's bedside with her hands clamped together, looking helpless and lost.

Theodore saw the bandage on her forehead. "What did the doctor say? Did you get stitches?"

Aurora shook her head. "No, the doctor said it's nothing major."

Theodore heaved a sigh of relief. "That's good. You can always be honest with me and tell me what's on your mind."

Aurora stood there, looking panicked and frightened. She hemmed and hawed, wanting to say something yet didn't dare to. She eventually lowered her head and remained silent.

Theodore furrowed his brows. "What's the matter?"

"I... I..." Aurora stammered.

The hesitation on Aurora's face irritated Theodore. "What exactly do you want to say? Leave if you don't want to say anything."

Aurora's heart leaped. She bit her lips and tears fell down in her cheeks in an instant.

At the sight of her tears, irritation grew in Theodore's heart. "Can you stop crying?"

She was so hesitant to speak and started to cry when he urged her, as if he did something horrible to her.

Why did everyone have to be so dramatic?

At the end of the day, Rosalie was the best. No one could compare to her.

That, despite her wanting him to die.

Theodore's eyes dimmed at the thought of Rosalie.

Aurora wiped the tears from her face. "I... Please don't get mad at me after I say it out loud."

Theodore's brows knitted tighter, finding her hesitation annoying. "If you think I'll get mad, then don't say it. Leave."

Aurora stood there, stunned. Theodore seemed different from what he was like previously.

He seemed to be even more quick-tempered.

She eventually decided not to speak her mind. "In... In that case, have a good rest. I'll be off, then."

He was right. Since what she wanted to say might anger him, what was the point of her saying it? It might even look like she was doing it on purpose. She didn't want Theodore thinking that she was that kind of person.

Aurora turned to leave. As Theodore

was looking at her despondent, retreating figure, he suddenly thought that she might have something urgent. Perhaps he boyfriend might be back to harass her again.

What if something happened to her just because he refused to hear her out?

He instinctively thought about Rosalie again.

"Wait," Theodore called out to her.

Aurora stopped in her tracks, and turned around. "Mr. Spencer, is there anything else?"

"Tell me if there's anything on your mind. I'm giving you one last chance."

What she wanted to say might anger him, but he would be angrier if she refused to say it. Saying things halfway was the most annoying thing.

If she really was worried that her

words might tick him off, she shouldn't even have mentioned it in the first place. If it weren't for her resemblance to Rosalie, he would have asked her to leave right away. Content belongs to

Aurora's heart leaped with joy upon realizing that Theodore was still willing to hear her out. "Mr. Spencer, go

I told you about my wish to traveling at Melrine before.

Theodore nodded. "And then? Are you preparing to go?"

Aurora pondered for a moment before saying, "Yes, I want to go."

Theodore said, "Alright, I'll have someone buy flight tickets and plan the trip for you."

"No," Aurora said. "I'm not asking you to plan it for me. I would like you to go traveling with me."

"What did you say?" Theodore's eyes grew cold. "You want me to go to Melrine with you?" Aurora mustered up the courage to say, "Yes, Mr. Spencer. Let's go to Melrine together."

It took her so much to say those words.

As expected, Theodore's face grew dark. "Do you know what you're asking?"
