Billionaire’s Rebirth Wife

Chapter 45

Trista’s point of view

Donald stood up violently and questioned me before I could finish my sentence “Is it Sylvia, or is it someone else? It seems that it’s too light for her to wash the toilet!”

“Hey, where are you going?”. I sped up to catch up to him and drew him back. “As I previously stated, I fell down by myself. Please don’t point the finger at anyone else.”

“What caused you to stumble into the garden? I’m not convinced!” He was intending to retaliate against Sylvia.

“Don’t panic! Pay attention to what I’m saying. It isn’t what you believe!”

“Get out of my way!”

“All right, I’ll tell it how it is!” I couldn’t persuade him otherwise, so I told him the complete thing. “That’s how it went down.”

“It’s no surprise you inquired if I had any enemies at midday. Did you catch a glimpse of their faces?”

“No,” I said with a shake of my head.

“I’ll delegate this investigation to Ira. I’m not going to allow you to become engaged unintentionally.” He put his hands on my shoulders as if he was suspicious of someone. “It should be him if my assessment is correct.”

“Who?”

“You don’t know her.” He put his hand on my head and murmured, “I’ll be waiting for you after work. Come on, let’s all go home together.”

“No, I’m afraid I won’t be able to. I’ll be noticed….” He walked up to the door and said, “Seriously,” as he opened it “Before you leave work, you must give me a result. Come to my office on time at six o’clock.”

“Yes, Mr. Donald,” I say. I can only respond in a cooperative manner.

Seeing Donald leave in a hurry, everyone stood up and said, “Mr. Donald, take care!”

When his back vanished at the door, everyone cheered up at the same time –

“Yes, indeed! That’s fantastic!”

“Wow!” exclaims the crowd.

“Thank you, Trista!” Brenda rushed over to take my hand in hers and thanked me profusely “Mr. Donald would not have discovered the old witch’s true face if it hadn’t been for you! That’s fantastic! Nothing in my life has ever made me so happy for such a long time!”Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“Trista, you are correct. I didn’t anticipate you attracting Mr. Donald’s attention as soon as you arrived. We won’t be intimidated by the old witch in the future because of you. We have too much freedom! This long-forgotten delight does not come too soon or too late. It appears that I do not need to be in such a rush to get to work!”

“Tonight, let’s go out on a date. Why not invite our hero to perform in KTV?”

……

“What are you up to?”. Suddenly, a man’s voice could be heard.

Everyone was taken aback. “Mr. Ira?” says the narrator. They all dashed to their chairs and took a seat. The joyous scene had abruptly turned cold and quiet.

I stood alone and noticed that they were moving too quickly. I was completely unaware that they had all vanished.

“Miss Trista is a lovely lady. Mr. Donald requested that I deliver it to you.” Ira didn’t just evade suspicion; he also used hemostatic tape in front of everyone.

Ira rushed to add, “Mr. Donald stated that Miss Trista is filling in for Ms. Sylvia on a temporary basis. Your appearance and appearance represent the whole department, and the hee asked you to cover your wound and not to damage the reputation of the Department. It will make a negative impression on others if there are visitors.”

With the hemostatic tape, I didn’t expect him to come up with such a lofty reason. I took it over and said, “thank you, Mr. Donald. I’m not going to let you down. I will do my best to work efficiently and maintain a professional appearance.”

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll go first.”

Everyone in the Department got more active once Ira left.

“Oh, my goodness! It’s only your first day here, Trista. In such a short period of time, you’ve been elevated to Ms. Sylvia. You’re fantastic!”

“It would be fantastic if you could take over as Director of the Department in the future! That old witch has had enough of me!”

“You have excellent taste, Mr. Donald! You are more qualified than Sylvia for the role of deputy director!”

When I was going to say something, someone interrupted me.

“Yes, of course! Trista is from another country and has three years of jewelry design experience! Is it possible for an old witch to match it?” Brenda took my hand in hers and stated proudly.

“You misread what I was saying. I’m only assisting Ms. Sylvia with her work on a temporary basis. I’ll give Ms. Sylvia the job back when she returns.” Let me clarify.

After all, getting this job isn’t my goal. What I really want to do is go into the R&D lab and clone the Bright Pearl.

“Didn’t Mr. Donald just state that this post will be yours from now on as long as the old witch’s toilet can’t be cleaned?”

“Don’t be stingy with your words. You are always the most appropriate person in our hearts.”

“Exactly!”

Brenda tilted her head and suggested, “How about we go to the witch’s bathroom?” after some thought.

“Great!” Someone agreed with a clap of her hands.

I don’t believe it’s a good idea, so I snatched Brenda’s hand away from her and said, “You may proceed. My task isn’t finished yet.”

“Let’s take a trip together. Don’t you appreciate the chance to avenge yourself? When she returns to this situation, you will suffer!”

“I’m not going.” I continue to refuse.

“All right!” Brenda didn’t keep pushing me. “Please wait for me. Let’s let off steam for you!”

Sylvia’s point of view

I filled half a bucket of water and spilled it on one of the closets while standing in the restroom. “How long do you intend to wash in this manner? What is it, my mother, that hurts so much? Why don’t you give it a proper toss?”

Near the trash can, there were numerous pieces of waste paper and a bottle of hand sanitizer, as well as a bottle of hand sanitizer on the washbasin. “God, please help me!” I sighed as I looked about.

“What are you talking about, Ms. Sylvia?” Brenda was the first to open the door, followed by many coworkers.

I had a feeling they were here to cause havoc!

“Are you here to make me laugh?” I scowled.

“We’re going to the bathroom!”

“Ms. Sylvia, you don’t clean the toilet well,” Brenda observed, pushing open one of the doors with a sniff.

“Nonsense! I’m not a housekeeper!”

“So you’re not even up to the task of cleaning?”

“You….”

“What exactly is this? It’s filthy!” Brenda put one of the trash cans over her nose and remarked, “It’s overflowing. Aren’t you going to pour it out, Ms. Sylvia?”

“It has nothing to do with you!” I replied sarcastically.

“I don’t think you’ve done anything!” Brenda took a look around and nonchalantly added, “Trista had specifically requested that I come here to conduct a random check. When I return, I’m not sure how to convey your attitude toward work to me. It’s a significant occasion in your bright future.”

“So, what exactly did I do wrong?” I tried my hardest to keep my rage in check.

“Look here,, Brenda’s fingers were pointing to one side, then the other. My cloth kept wiping about as she pointed. Brenda continued to place her orders “as well as here! This is the most crucial location! And that nook over there is the best location for bacteria to hide! Please hurry! And this location!”

Brenda called her back and forth an hour later. She took a peek at her wristwatch and exclaimed, “Hey, you’ll be out of the office in half an hour. It appears that you still have a lot of laundry rooms to clean, Ms. Sylvia. Please hurry up. It will be detrimental if you waste time!”

I was so furious that I clenched my teeth. Brenda obviously did that on purpose!

Wait and see what happens! I’ll make everyone thrilled when I return to the role of deputy director!
