Eli put her arm around his shoulder and said bossily, “Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t care about you, but I trust you. You know, you’ve added a lot of points because of this.”

Sean took a deep breath, picked her up from the waist, and put her on the bed. He looked at her with burning eyes and said, “I was afraid because you ran away.”

Eli chuckled. “Didn’t I come back in the end?”

“Mm,” Sean looked at her lips and slowly kissed her.

Suddenly, a knock was heard on the door.

Sean frowned. He looked at the door and asked, “Yes?”

Yvonne didn’t come in. Instead, she said at the door, “Sean, Bellamy and Rebecca are downstairs. We’ll have dinner in another ten minutes.”

“Got it. I’ll be right there in a minute,” Sean said in a low voice.

“I’m going to dress up as your assistant, otherwise, Bellamy will suspect me. I have to start preparing now,” Eli turned over from the bed, leaving no chance for Sean to linger around.

Since he had too many things to deal with recently, he was not in the mood for that either. He got up from the bed and went back to his room. He tidied up his hair and clothes before leaving the room.

Bellamy and Rebecca were already downstairs. Holding Yvonne’s hand, Rebecca said coquettishly to her, “Yvonne, Bellamy’s here. Don’t bully him, lest my boyfriend runs away.”

Yvonne gave a gentle smile. “I don’t think that’s possible. You’re like a wild tiger, and no one in this world could tame you. It’ll be good if he can take care of you.”

“No, I am very well-behaved. How could you say that about me?” Rebecca pouted and said cutesily.

Yvonne looked at Bellamy. She had thought that he looked similar to Jasper, but now that she had a chance to look at him closely, they really looked exactly the same. The Creator was indeed amazing. “If I didn’t know you, I would’ve thought that you’re Jasper’s twin brother. It’s a shame that he’s no longer here. “Perhaps, Jasper and I should be considered relatives. However, he’s really great and I’m nothing like him,” Bellamy lowered his voice and said politely.

Before Bellamy had the chance to answer, Yvonne interrupted, “Oh, stop talking about business as soon as Bellamy arrives. It’s about time for dinner. Let’s not keep our guests hungry.”

She took Sean’s arm and glanced at Eli from the corner of her eye.

Eli looked at Rebecca, then at Bellamy. She was thinking about something and she didn’t look at Sean and Yvonne at all.

She didn’t expect that Bellamy would have an affair with Yvonne’s younger sister. She had originally wanted to set him up with Stella. It seemed that she didn’t need to do that anymore.

“It’s fine, I’ve already eaten,” Bellamy said.

Rebecca was a little stunned. “Have you?”

“I ate outside, and I went home after eating,” Bellamy said as a matter-of-factly.

“Why did you eat so early?” Rebecca was surprised and somewhat resentful.

“It’s alright. You can eat again, just take it as supper. The invitation was rather last-minute, I’m sorry,” Yvonne answered and admitted her mistake. Her tactfulness made others feel as though she was a kind person that would not seek to embarrass others.

Eli knew that this was the art of speech, saying the right words to make others feel good.

Bellamy couldn’t refuse any further. “I’m sorry to trouble you then, Mrs. President.”

“No trouble at all,” Yvonne casually joked. She looked at Natasha and said, “Natasha, ask the kitchen to prepare the food.”

Bellamy looked towards Natasha with a deep look in his eyes.

Natasha nodded respectfully and went to the kitchen.

Bellamy then looked at Eli.

Eli’s gaze met his and she quickly lowered her head.

Everyone looked at Eli, including Sean.

“Well… you are so handsome that I don’t dare to look at you,” Eli explained.

Bellamy suddenly revealed a bright smile. His facial features were stunning, and his smile became even more charming. “You sure are a sweet-talker.”

Eli felt Sean’s eyes on her, and a chill ran down her spine. “Stop complimenting me. If you continue to compliment me, I’ll get into trouble.”

Bellamy’s smile became even brighter. “Why?”

She couldn’t say that Sean would be jealous, hence, she casually said, “I would be blinded by your bright smile.”

Bellamy burst into laughter.

He knew that Eli and Stella were friends.

However, their personalities were completely different. It was hard to imagine that they could become good friends.

Yvonne’s expression turned a little ugly.

She wanted to learn Eli’s sense of humor. No one would laugh whenever she made a joke, but when Eli made a casual joke, men would laugh as though it was the funniest thing he had heard in the world.

Sean was also a little unhappy. He then said, “Let’s eat first.”

He took Yvonne’s hand quietly and walked ahead with a cold face.

Eli noticed Sean’s displeased expression and knew that she was in trouble.

After settling down in his seat, Sean grabbed Eli’s hand and gave it a tight squeeze.

Eli was in pain. She pulled her hand away but he grabbed it again. With a strange look on his face, he asked Bellamy directly, “I heard from Yvonne that you are in a relationship with Rebecca, yes?”

“We’re not dating yet. We’re just getting to know each other now,” Rebecca corrected him shyly.

“That’s good, maybe you two would suit each other. After all, Rebecca is the most beautiful woman in M Country,” Sean said.

Eli glanced at Rebecca.

She felt that Stella was much more beautiful than Rebecca. Not only was Stella more beautiful than her, but Stella definitely outclassed her in terms of temperament.

“No, my sister is the most beautiful woman, not me,” Rebecca stuck out her tongue and said.

Eli was very calm.

She felt that God was always fair. People were created in a balance of good and bad.

Although Yvonne was beautiful, she was ill.
