Chapter 538 Stella, I’m Back
Stella lowered her gaze, a strange feeling creeping into her heart. She didn’t know why, but she felt a chill down her spine. For some reason, she was afraid of knowing the answer.
However, she had to know the answer. Only then could she be at ease.
The bike twisted and turned, and Stella could not tell which road he was going on.
However, he seemed to be very familiar with the paths.
If he was not Jasper, could he be Steven?
Stella hugged him tightly, her face leaning against his back as she listened to his strong heartbeat.
“Stella, don’t doubt me anymore. I love you,” Bellamy said softly.
Stella did not reply. Instead, she closed her eyes.
She clearly knew that she shouldn’t doubt him at all. However, she was still afraid and her thoughts would still run wild occasionally.
Bellamy sighed, and half an hour later, the bike finally stopped.
When Stella opened her eyes, she saw a small cottage with lights on.
She got off the bike in surprise.
Bellamy opened the door.
“Dad,” Stella heard a child’s voice.
She heard Ralph’s voice.
She slowly walked over.
When Ralph saw Stella, his eyes were filled with displeasure and he turned his face away.
Apart from Ralph, she saw a doctor, a teacher, a housekeeper, and a little girl in the cottage.
She didn’t know who that little girl was.
“Take our blood samples,” Bellamy said to the doctor. He sat down in the chair and stretched his hand out.
The doctor did what he was told. He took a device and clicked on Bellamy’s finger. The blood that came out of his finger was absorbed by the device.
He handed the device to Stella.
Stella took it over.
After that, the doctor drew Ralph’s blood again and gave the device to Stella.
Stella held the two devices in her hand and understood Bellamy’s intention.
“You may do a blood test on it. I’ll send you home after checking Ralph’s homework. I can’t accompany you today,” Bellamy said in a deep voice.
“I’m sorry,” Stella said apologetically.
“As I said, I won’t blame you. It’s good for you to do this. At least, no one will ever be able to disguise as me,” Bellamy said reasonably.
Stella lowered her eyes and watched as Bellamy checked on Ralph’s homework.
She missed Dante, but in the current situation, it was too dangerous for him to return.
Half an hour later, Bellamy sent her back.
Neither of them spoke, and the atmosphere was filled with solemnness.
Stella took a deep breath, broke the silence, and said, “Who is that little girl?”
“My comrade’s daughter. Her parents are dead and her grandparents have both died of illness. She was bullied at her Aunt’s house, hence, I brought her here,” Bellamy said.
On one hand, she could accompany Ralph, so that he would not feel too lonely. On the other hand, it would be easier for me to take care of her.”
“It’s a very crucial time right now, so I’m hiding them here. If Christian’s men found Ralph, they’ll be able to confirm that I’m Jasper,” Bellamy explained calmly to her.
Stella nodded.
“You really are bold to confront Christian head-on. It is extremely dangerous. I’ve already sent people out to protect you, so don’t do that anymore in the future. I’ll be worried,” Bellamy said in a deep voice.
“I got a little impulsive since Sean is no longer helping me to enter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also, our people are in great danger at Christian’s place. Even Frederick is unaware of his weakness despite staying by his side for so many years. Our people couldn’t seem to figure it out either. Hence, we carried out this plan. With the public attacks, I could pull him down,” Stella explained.
“He will at least care about his reputation while he is still a minister. If you drag him down, I’m afraid that he’ll do anything out of desperation,” Bellamy said with worry.
“The more desperate he is, the more chances he will give for us to fight back. I am waiting for him to make a mistake,” Stella said fearlessly.
“If that’s the case, you’ll be in great danger,” Bellamy said.
Stella raised the corners of her mouth slightly, “I’m not afraid. I just want to be with you as soon as possible. Many people in the world have died for no reason. If anything were to happen to me, at least, I will die honorably.”
Bellamy suddenly stopped the bike and looked at her angrily. “I won’t allow you to die.”
Looking at his scarlet eyes, Stella’s heart trembled, “That will not happen. You have so many people protecting me. I will be fine.”
“Please discuss with me first when you want to do these things in the future. I don’t want you to rush in alone. Also, you don’t need to care about the medical team. Within a month, they will become my people,” Bellamy said.
“Okay,” Stella said with a smile.
“I really want to keep you company,” Bellamy said.
However, he couldn’t stay with her. Even if she got the paternity test results, she wouldn’t believe it.
“Once I get rid of Christian, I will be able to be with you all the time, out in the open. It won’t take long,” Stella said softly.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Bellamy informed and drove.
…
Stella woke up at 7 a. m. The first thing she did was to check the monitor. No one has moved the device that contained Bellamy and Ralph’s blood.
She brushed her teeth and opened the door, shouting, “Lynette.”
No one answered her.
She remembered that she had asked Lynette to follow Tinley. Was she not back yet?
She gave Lynette a call and asked, “Where are you?”
“I’m at the Intercontinental Hotel. Tinley has not come out since she entered the room. I’ve asked the God’s Eyes’ people to keep track of her as well. However, I didn’t see her coming out, and I didn’t see anyone going into her room either,” Lynette reported.
“There’s no need to follow her anymore. Just come back for a rest,” Stella said.
Lynette said, “… Elvis and I will take turns to spy on her. We’re not tired at all.”
“You’ve been following her for the whole day. If you keep following her, we will only know what she wants us to know. It’s meaningless. Come back and have a rest,” Stella said.
“Alright, I’ll come back now,” Lynette said.
Stella hung up the phone and asked a soldier to send her to the hospital. Then, she went directly into the examination room using Anthony’s connections. She watched them do the test. The results came out half an hour later.
She looked at the test results and breathed a sigh of relief.
The result showed that they were indeed biological father and son.
She must have been too tired with so many things to deal with, causing her imagination to run wild.
Fortunately, he was Jasper.
Stella put her hand on her forehead and smiled. She got into the car and looked out of the window. A figure flashed in front of her, the woman seemed to be… Eli Wayne.
Stella quickly pushed open the door and walked towards the direction in which the woman had gone to. However, Stella couldn’t find her.

She dialed Anthony’s number and said, “Check… the area near… the hospital. Just now… I think that I saw Eli…”
Stella patted her head. How could she be so excited that she couldn’t even speak coherently?
“I’ll send you Eli’s photo first. If it’s really her, help me to spy on her,” Stella said anxiously.
“Alright,” Anthony said.
Stella found Eli’s photo on her phone and sent it to Anthony.
She paced back and forth anxiously.
“It’s her. She’s in a car now, heading to Wessex Road. I’ve sent her location to you,” Anthony said.
There was a flash of surprise in Stella’s eyes. She got in the car hurriedly, handed the phone to the soldier, and ordered, “Catch up with her.”
