Chapter 50 Do Not Argue
Chapter 50 Do Not Argue
November 4th
10 minutes later Elena was hooked up to the oxygen machine and being carried on a stretcher into an
ambulance.
"I'll keep you updated," Antonio, who had only arrived a few minutes before, said to Leo before getting
in the ambulance with Rosa. "Take the girls home," he added looking over to the rest of his daughters.
"Ella, I should go," Connor said taking my hand.
I nodded, "But I'll see you again soon...right?"
He smiled, "Of course. I'll come anytime you want."
I then watched as he jogged off, out of the base and Leo ushered me along with his other four sisters
into his car.
For 10 minutes nobody spoke until Leo finally broke the silence by clearing his throat.
"This is never happening again," He said.
"Leo-" Maria began.
"No," he said in an authoritative tone.
"Let me speak," Maria demanded.
"Do not argue with me. Our sister could die because she got hurt fighting a battle she should never
have been allowed to go anywhere near," Leo said his voice deepening.
"Then why is it okay for Mateo, Marco and Carlos to fight but not us?" Maria growled. "What if one of
them almost died?"
"They are grown men and they've had the proper training," Leo responded. "I'd rather put their lives at
risk than yours."
"Well, maybe I'd rather die fighting than let others die for me," Maria growled.
"Stop growling at me, Maria. Whilst you are living in this pack you will abide by my rules and if you don't
like them tough. I am your Alpha no matter how closely related we are," Leo replied his voice only one
step away from it's deepest.
"Then maybe I should go to another pack then. A pack that doesn't stop me from doing something I
want to do just because I'm a woman," she replied.
"You aren't leaving," Leo growled.
"Oh yeah?" She replied. "As soon as Elena is better we can both leave together. Live as rogues if we
have to."
"And what would Alonzo have to say about that?" Leo asked. (Alonzo was the name of Maria's mate if
you didn't already know).
"I don't give a shit, because unlike you he doesn't control what I do and don't do. Now stop the car I
want to walk home," She said folding her arms. Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
"I'm not stopping the car," Leo said. "Stop arguing with me," he growled using his Alpha tone for the
first time in the argument
After that Maria stopped and the car returned to silence until we got back to the Loren house 20
minutes later. Maria stormed straight upstairs presumably to her room whilst Bella, Lisa and Lia came
with Leo and I to the kitchen.
"Leo?" Lia said quietly probably still cautious of his anger levels.
"What is it Lia?" He asked completely calmly.
"What were you planning on doing with Haden?" she asked.
"Keep him in the pack prison on a high dosage of wolfsbane," he answered.
"But then what? He can't be like that forever," she pointed out.
"Well if he wasn't your mate I would have already executed him. But since he is and there is nothing I
can do about that, when I am sure that he won't be able to attack again, I will consider releasing him
and banishing him from the territory. At that point you can choose if you want to go with him or not,"
Leo said and Lia nodded.
"Will I be allowed to visit him whilst he's in the prison?" she asked.
"Of course, he'll be weak from the wolfsbane, but you can still talk to him with supervision," Leo
answered.
"Okay thanks, Leo," Lia said.
"Has there been any news from Dad?" Bella asked nervously.
"Not yet."
"Do you think she'll be okay?" Lisa asked.
"Dad doesn't think so. Why else would he want us to go home not to the hospital?" Bella said quietly.
"That's not necessarily true Bell. There are a lot of us and he may of just not wanted us all to crowd the
doctors. Mateo, Marco, Carlos and Lenny aren't there either," Leo replied.
At that point, something vibrated in Leo's pocket.
"It's from Dad," Leo said. I could hear everyone's heart speed up at his words. I could also hear Maria's
footsteps from upstairs making their way down. Leo tapped the screen of his phone reading the
message.
"What does it say?" I asked trying to determine his facial expression.
"It says," Leo began...
