Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

After leaving the restaurant, the two jumped into the car together.

Looking at Nelly with his Alpha gaze, Kilian said, “Should we go back to the Morris residence tonight? I might need your help convincing Old Alpha Jackson to move.”

Hearing this, Nelly replied, “To be honest, it’s pretty simple.” “What do you mean?”

“As long as you’re not staying there, I doubt Grandpa has anything against moving,” Nelly said, giving him a sly look.

Kilian raised an eyebrow before nodding. “That makes sense.”

He started the engine and then asked, “By the way, when will Old Alpha Jackson stop judging me?” “Maybe he never will.”

“Wait, so you’re saying no matter how hard I try, it won’t make a difference?” Kilian asked.

“Old Alpha Jackson’s opinion of you and the success of your efforts are two separate things,” Nelly explained.

Kilian looked at her, curious. “So you’re saying, even if Old Alpha Jackson isn’t happy with me, I can still achieve good results?”

Nelly froze for a moment when she saw Kilian’s eager expression. “That’s what I mean.” Kilian smiled affectionately. “I understand now, Nelly.”

“What do you understand?” Nelly asked.

Kilian continued to smile softly at her. “What you meant, of course.” Nelly fell silent.

After seeing his smile, she only paused for a moment before deciding not to explain further.

It would be great if he really understands, but it doesn’t matter if he misunderstands. There are some things I just don’t want to explain anymore.

Just then, Kilian’s phone rang.

When Nelly saw that it was his work phone, she looked down at her own phone.

Suddenly, she remembered how someone with the same accent had called her when she was in the hospital. Though she couldn’t be sure it was the same person, their way of speaking and accent were identical.

It’s him! It has to be him! But if he already has my number, why did he have to run into me today? Just as Nelly was pondering this, Kilian called out, “Nelly?”

She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard his voice. “Yeah?” “What’s the matter?” he asked.

“Oh, it’s nothing. Just thinking about work,” she replied.

Even so, Kilian glanced at the phone in her hand and asked cautiously, “Did that person send you a message?”

Nelly looked at her phone before shaking her head. “No.”

Kilian didn’t quite believe her and chuckled. “Well, do you want me to check it?” Nelly looked serious. “No need. I trust you.” She put her phone away and then asked, “Why did you call my name?”

“I have some things to take care of at the company, and it’ll take about an hour. Can we go back to the Morris residence together once I’m done?” he requested.

Nelly nodded. “Sure!”

Once Kilian got her agreement, he drove straight to the company.

Since the Morris Corporation’s anniversary banquet, the employees had learned more about Nelly. Even though their marriage hadn’t been announced yet, Kilian was already very protective of Nelly, and they already had children. Was there really a need to clarify who she was?

So, when people saw them, they greeted both Kilian and Nelly. “Greetings, Alpha Morris, Mrs. Morris!”

Nelly looked up at Kilian. “Mrs. Morris? When did I become Mrs. Morris?”

Kilian raised an eyebrow and explained, “I think they’ve been assuming you’re Mrs. Morris since the last anniversary banquet.”

Nelly understood. “Did you not correct them?”

“How was I supposed to do that? Should I hold a meeting to make it clear, or should I tell everyone I meet that you’re not Mrs. Morris?” Kilian responded.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Hmm, neither of those sounds like a good plan.

Just then, Kilian leaned closer to her ear and whispered, “Even though you’re not Mrs. Morris right now, you used to be. And you can be again whenever you want. I’ve been waiting for you to give the okay.”

There was something charming about his handsome face. Nelly looked at him and was about to say something when Fabian hurried over. “Alpha Morris, you’re here! They’re all waiting for you in the conference room.”

Kilian’s expression turned serious, and he nodded at Fabian. “Okay.”

Then, he turned to Nelly and said, “Wait for me in the office. I’ll be back soon. If you need anything, just call someone in the office for help.”

Nelly nodded.

“Wait for me, alright?” After one last loving look, Kilian stood up and headed to the conference room.

Nelly watched him go for a moment before turning to his office.

She hadn’t asked for anything to drink, but soon a secretary came in with a cup of coffee. “Mrs. Morris, Alpha Morris asked me to bring you coffee.”
