“Well, it’s decided then. Let’s proceed with her. Arrange for the signing of the contract! I want her ready for the photo shoot as soon as possible!” the director barked at the assistant director.
Impatient to begin filming, the director had insisted on finding the perfect actress for the role. “Wait! Before we finalize anything, I need to speak to her family and have them sign the contract in person. It’s not solely my decision,” Sharon interjected after careful consideration.
The director furrowed his brow, clearly displeased, but eventually relented. “Fine, make the arrangements with Lewis.” Lewis, the assistant director, nodded in agreement. “Understood.” Sharon affirmed, determined to handle the matter professionally. “I’ll make the necessary calls.”
With that, the director departed, leaving Sharon to signal Donna to leave the stage. “I think I discovered something special in you just now, Ms. Sharon…” Donna voiced. Eagerly, Sharon inquired, “How was it? Did you enjoy it?”
Donna nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. “Yeah, it was so much fun!” Sharon couldn’t help but feel a tinge of envy as she murmured, “The director said you’re a natural, that you’ll achieve great success with a little training!” Donna’s expression lit up at the news. “Really?” Sharon confirmed with a nod. “Absolutely. The director has an uncanny knack for spotting talent. Almost all his predictions have come true.”
“Does that mean I’ll become a celebrity in the future?” Donna wondered aloud. Sharon beamed encouragingly. “Yes! Do you like the idea of being a celebrity?” Donna hesitated, her brow furrowing in thought. “I’m not quite sure how I feel about it, but I did love acting earlier. It was incredibly fun!”
