Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

Thalia and Tony noticed Caroline peering through the blinds as they exited the ward, their eyes meeting in silent understanding. Thalia approached Caroline, standing beside her to see what had captured her attention. Caroline, startled by Thalia’s sudden presence, turned her head and jumped in fright.

“Did you see clearly? Should we go in and take a closer look?” Thalia asked, curiosity piqued as she glanced through the gap. “I can’t make out much from here.”

Caroline frowned, unimpressed by Thalia’s intrusion. “And who might you be?” she asked, a trace of displeasure in her voice.

Thalia turned to face her, not one to be looked down upon. “I could ask you the same. Who are you? What are you staring at?”

Caroline straightened her back and dusted off her dress, about to reply before thinking better of it. “I am the future mother-in-law of the CEO of Morris Corporation. Who do you think I am?”

Thalia stared back at her incredulously, as if questioning Caroline’s understanding of reality. “Who?”

Caroline, feeling insulted by Thalia’s lack of recognition, gave her a disdainful look. “Never mind. You wouldn’t understand.”

Thalia couldn’t believe her arrogance. “What the f*ck?”

Thalia refused to allow this older woman to belittle her. She turned to Tony and asked, “Do you know who she is?”

Tony glanced at Caroline. “No, I don’t,” he replied, disregarding the fact that she was Lara’s mother.

“Well then, it seems I’m not the only one,” Thalia said, stretching her neck and wrists.

Caroline was taken aback when Tony appeared behind her.

So those two kids I saw the other day were just poor imitations of Alpha Kilian. This boy, though, he looks exactly like Alpha Kilian himself. I swear!

She stared at him for a long moment before stuttering, “W-Who are you?”

Tony, looking cool and handsome in his black trench coat, raised an eyebrow and flashed her a mysterious smile. “Who am I? Who do you think I am?”

Tony could tell something clicked in Caroline’s mind as she searched for an answer, so he decided to keep her guessing and maintain an air of intrigue.

“You…” Caroline was at a loss for words, finding his manner of speaking and presence reminiscent of Alpha Kilian.

Proud, arrogant, and full of himself. Is he really Alpha Kilian’s son? But then what about those two I saw the other day? No! It can’t be! This must be a coincidence!

Caroline paled as she looked at Tony.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Thalia observed the exchange, confused. What’s going on? I haven’t even done anything yet.

She turned to Tony, thinking that Caroline must be shocked to see someone resembling Alpha Kilian so closely. Thalia pulled Tony closer, smiled, and addressed Caroline, “Excuse me, you rude b*tch. Do you know who this kid is, considering you claim to be Alpha Kilian’s future mother-in-law?”

Caroline turned to Thalia. “Who?”

“The heir to Morris Corporation.”

“Is he really Alpha Kilian’s son?” Caroline instinctively asked.

Thalia nodded. “You have a good eye!”

Caroline stiffened.

Tony’s expression made her feel utterly embarrassed.

“I know Alpha Kilian is willing to do anything for that goddess. So who is your daughter?” Thalia asked, sensing a familiarity in Caroline’s appearance.

Caroline’s face drained of color as she realized who Thalia was referring to. “Oh! I remember now. You’re the mother of the woman from last night, right?”

Caroline turned to Thalia, her expression guarded. “Last night? What are you talking about? I don’t understand.”

Thalia sneered. “Why do you look so surprised? I haven’t even said anything yet. Could it be that your daughter…” Thalia glanced towards the ward, leaving the rest up to interpretation.

Feeling guilty, Caroline glared at Thalia. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” With that, she turned around and left.

“Hey, don’t go!” Thalia called after her. “Aren’t you Alpha Kilian’s future mother-in-law? Don’t you want to see him? Hey, why are you leaving…”

Caroline quickened her pace, eager to escape.

Thalia smiled smugly as she watched Caroline flee. “Hmph, how dare a mere mortal look down on me?”

“I thought you were going to use force,” Tony remarked.

“Nah, she’s not worth my time.”

“Then why did you stretch your wrists?”

“Just to scare her, of course!” Thalia replied, leaving Tony speechless.

Caroline returned to the ward, finding Lara wide awake and anxious for news.

“How did it go, Mom?” Lara immediately asked.

Caroline gave her a look and walked over. “Alpha Kilian is still alive.”

Lara breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing her mother’s words.

“T-Then what about Nelly?”

“She’s fine. She’s not even in the bed!”

Lara considered this and exclaimed, “It’s so unfair. How can she be fine when Alpha Kilian is so badly injured?”

Caroline stared at her daughter. “Lara, tell me the truth. You didn’t leave any evidence behind yesterday, did you?”

Lara nodded. “I only saw him going towards Nelly’s ward from the corridor.”

Caroline breathed a sigh of relief. “Remember, that’s the story you stick to, no matter who asks.”

Lara nodded obediently. “Okay.”

“One more thing…” Caroline hesitated, unsure of how to proceed.

“What is it?”

Caroline struggled to find the right words. “Lara, I don’t think Nelly aborted the twins…”

Lara was taken aback.

“I began to suspect it when I saw Alpha King Larry spending time with two children before all this…” Caroline continued, uncertain about the third child she had seen that day.

Lara stared at her in disbelief. “You said you saw Alpha King Larry with two kids?”

Caroline nodded, searching for confirmation. “You knew?”

Lara recalled Alpha King Larry’s reaction when she revealed the truth about Nelly to him. At the time, she couldn’t understand why Alpha King Larry still wanted to acknowledge Nelly despite everything. But now, seeing Alpha Kilian’s doppelganger, everything fell into place.

“So… are those two really Alpha Kilian’s children?”

Lara felt like her world had been shattered. She sank onto the bed, devastated.

“If this is true, then I’ve become the laughingstock of the year. I’ve lost before the battle even started.”

“Mom, what do I do? I feel like I’ve lost Alpha Kilian forever!” Lara mumbled, her voice filled with despair.
