WIFE SERIES: THE BATTERED WIFE (ENGLISH VERSION)

CHAPTER 29: MINA’S KISS

I close my eyes while listening to music. I am tired and I am having jetlag now so I am not in the mood though we arrived last night.

If there's anyone I want to talk to today, it's Lily, so I know what my schedule is. But she's nowhere to be found so I don't know what to do.

Though I received an email when I was still in L. A. that if possible I would go to the new hospital in Makita and check if I can lend them help. The hospital is semi-private, though it was built to help those poor people who can't afford to pay their bills.

When I was still in California, my decision was complete. I am very much willing to help them, but I have no plans to go there but it's different now and I'm bored.

After sitting down I went into the bathroom to take a shower. Now I intend to give that check to the hospital, personally.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

For me not to attract press and paparazzi here, I just wore simple clothes. Pants and a black T-shirt. I put on a cap and tied my hair to the hat I was wearing.

I texted Lily before leaving their mansion. I used the big bike Seth owned to get to the hospital. I don't mind if I don't have bodyguards with me, especially since I know the ins and outs of this country.

When I got to the hospital I immediately talked to the director. I gave him the amount I am donating. I also need to go home right away.

"Thank you so much, Mina. I'll assure you that your money will fall into those who need it." He held out his hand to me again so I accepted it. "I'll take you outside ..." said the 50 something director. But before we could get out, someone stopped him. Someone needs his attention so I said goodbye.

But destiny was really surprising because even though my camp made no one know when I arrived in the Philippines, it was destiny itself that made it possible for me to meet two people I wanted revenge on. There was a look of shock on their faces when they saw me. The part where I parked my motorbike was near where the two of them parked their car.

"Mina!" Lele said in horror but I ignored her. My attention was focused on Tranz who was also obviously surprised by my presence.

"M-Mina," Tranz said as the key he was holding fell but he didn't seem to intend to pick up the key.

I looked at the key in the cement. I walked closer to the two of them as I played the key of the motor using my finger. When they were in front of me I picked up the key but did not hand it to Tranz first.

"Hello, my ex-husband..." I whispered in his ear. I suppressed a laugh because it was obvious to him that his body was stiff. I handed the key to Tranz and he was about to take it but I suddenly pulled it away from him. In my peripheral vision, I saw Lele's action so I turned to her.

"Oh, dear, have you been here before? I'm sorry if I didn't notice you earlier, I thought you're Tranz's servant, eh." I laughed. The laughter I learned in etiquette class. A laugh with a class.

"What the he!" I held out my hand to her so she was restrained from speaking.

"Are you pregnant? Who is the father?" I turned to Tranz. "Are you?" I deliberately showed my gaze on his face, down his chest to the middle of his thigh. I crossed my arm in front of my chest and one hand I slowly ran down my neck and then I played with my fingers on my lips. I also intentionally bit the edge of my lip so I could see Tranz swallowing successively. "I thought you were barren? So, what is this, you are not the father?"

I was brave because I knew my bodyguards were already around. Foreign bodyguards are so big. I even spotted Lily grinning big while looking at us.

"Oh, bitch, please! Tranz is not barren because he is the father of my child!"

"Okay," I replied while looking around at Lele's behavior. Her nose almost heats up because of what I said.

"What ?!"

I ignored her. I extended my hand to Tranz. I gave him his key.

"T-thank you."

I laughed. Tranz looked stupid in front of me. He stuttered and swallowed as he stared at my lips.

"Look at you, Love, you look miserable, eh? Because you were in the hands of the right person back then, but you fooled her." And even before he could speak, I approached him and grabbed him on his neck and kissed him on the lips while my eyes looked straight at Lele who's staring at us with her shocked eyes.

When Tranz's lips moved I immediately moved away from him.

"That's how you said thank you, Tranz. Don't be rude next time. "I winked at him before I turned away from them.

Lele couldn't do anything because my bodyguards protected me. Lily's laughter soared in the parking lot of the hospital.
