Whispers Of Betrayal (Anastasia and Alastor)

Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Anastasia took a deep breath and looked up to stop her tears from rolling downL

The party with Aaron of Ventus Group was a family dinner. Aaron brought his wife, but Alastor wanted to bring his

mistress?

“Anastasia…” Kimberly didn’t know how to comfort Anastasia and took her hand to swipe the card. “Just buy it! Swipe the bad guy’s card!”

Anastasia smiled and shook her head.

It was meaningless. She had already lost.

“Don’t cry, Annie.” Kimberly was so anxious that she started to cry.

Anastasia lowered her head and smiled at her Instagram.

Felicia had posted something-

She had taken pictures of herself and Alastor on the road.

In the photo, Alastor’s face could not be seen–except for his long and well–defined hand on the steering wheel. The car belonged to Alastor, and Felicia sat in the passenger seat.

The boss himself drove the car and took his secretary to a family dinner.

It was ironic.

“Alastor’s car? He let that woman sit in the passenger seat?” Kimberly also saw it and cursed angrily.

The company had a special car. Alastor had mysophobia, and he never let strangers sit in his own car.

Anastasia used to think that she was Alastor’s only woman..

That was because Alastor’s passenger seat only belonged to her.

But it turned out that their love became really crowded when a third person joined them.

“Dating anniversary? Shame on her! She has dated at least eight or ten people in Atharia. Why is she pretending to be innocent in front of Alastor?” Kimberly was so angry that she couldn’t wait to fly back home and tear Felicia up.

On Instagram, Felicia wrote: [Four years ago, we were naive and full of youth. I loved you, and you loved me. Through twists and turns, we still ended up with each other. People who genuinely love each other will always come back to the starting point, no matter how far the journey is. Because we both waited for each other, today is our dating anniversary, celebrating the days and nights we’ve spent together.]

Anastasia looked at the screen and laughed while crying.

It was so ironic.

Her wedding anniversary with Alastor was actually the dating anniversary of his and Felicia’s relationship.

She had thought that Alastor only cared about work and wouldn’t care about those days, so he never spent any wedding anniversary with her.

It turned out that he was so anxious about the blitz marriage to commemorate his first love.

Alastor… How cruel he was!

He treated her like that.

“Annie…”

Upon seeing Anastasia squat on the ground, Kimberly got anxious.

“Annie!”

Perhaps, Anastasia was so stimulated that she fainted. The dark red blood flowing out of her nose contrasted with her pale face, which made her look ghastly.

“Kimberly, do you need any help?”

When Anastasia almost lost consciousness, a strong person held her up and ran out. “Get a taxi!”

At the hospital, Kimberly was not there when Anastasia woke up. It was Jason who was communicating with the doctor fluently in Atharian by the bedside.

Anastasia had a bad headache and wanted to sit up.

“Don’t move.” Jason stepped forward to stop Anastasia and then turned back to talk with the doctor in Atharian.

His Atharian was very standard, with good fluency and an air of decent dubbing.

Sure enough, excellent people were excellent in every aspect.

“I’m sorry for troubling you. Where is Kimberly?” Anastasia was embarrassed.

“She went to help you deal with the visa problem.” Jason gave the results to Anastasia. “You are pregnant. They need you to inform the father of the baby” NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Anastasia was stunned for a moment. She looked up at Jason in shock and then lowered her head to look at the pregnancy check–up report.

Pregnant…

How was that possible?

Alastor didn’t like children. They would wear condoms every time they had sex.

It was only last month, during her safe period, that she accompanied Alastor to Sloummont. They didn’t have time to buy condoms in the hotel room.

Afterward, Alastor repeatedly told her to take the contraceptive pill and even called several times in person to tell her to take the medicine. She thought it was during the safe period, so she was careless.

Besides, Anastasia thought that they were husband and wife. Even though Alastor didn’t like children, it would be their child if she were pregnant.

What a coincidence.

Anastasia felt warm in her nasal cavity, so she subconsciously grabbed a tissue and stopped her nose.

Given her physical condition, not to mention giving birth to a child, even her own survival was in question.
