I think you should speak with me first and then shower
The following Sunday! After spending the morning with Jaeminy, Jhonia then spends the afternoon with Crissian.
“Ah, I’m full.” Jhonia sat herself down on the couch saying.
“Stay with us.” Crissian said as she joined Jhonia on the couch.
“Sorry. I wanted to spend the night and I should but you know because I was busy with Sky. I rarely spend time like this with anyone, I would sometimes go and sleep in my room at the Pinnock’s residence but it’s only to sleep. When I’m up after breakfast I leave, that’s it.” Jhonia apologized and said, before looking over at her as she continued to explain.
“I see. Do visit more. This is your home, you know, we don’t intend to stay forever.” Crissian said to her and explained. Jhonia stared at her for a moment.
“Ah, Crissian I don’t think you have noticed but you two are no longer working for me or for mom, and that maid girl is… Is actually your helper not mine. I did this about a month ago. I think I was talking to Orean about it but something else got in the way. Honestly, I thought you noticed it. See it as you don’t. I don’t intend to be here, for living at least but for visiting maybe but if you guys leave… Who will be here?” Jhonia said to her, taking a moment before she continued to explain to her honestly, she took another moment before asking?
“You want us to stay here, in your house forever?” Crissian asked and Jhonia looked up at her!
“If you want to stay forever, it’s acceptable. You know that I have no one except for a cousin who, I don’t know where he is… Then there is my father’s side of the family but they’re not an option.” Jhonia said with a smile which quickly faded as she spoke of her cousin a brief moment before she outcast her father’s side of the family.
“Why, why do you set an outcast for them when they’re family?” Crissian asked immediately, Jhonia chuckled!
“It’s a long story.” She said looking down at her watch.
“I have time.” Crissian said to Jhonia and the baby began crying, Jhonia smiled.
“Maybe not! I have to go and spend time with mom, and send her to spend the next weekend with me.” Jhonia said, getting up as she was about to leave, she stopped, turned around and said to Crissian.
“Okay, but why?” Crissian said but quickly asked, looking up at her!
“Allow you guys to go out as a couple and not a maid and driver going on a chore for your boss.” Jhonia said to her with a smile, Crissian seemed surprised.
“Don’t you not want to?” Jhonia asked, looking at her before raising her eyebrows at her.
“No, thank you. Are you good to me as a maid or because we fall in some category?” Crissian responded expressing her thanks as she quickly stood to her feet and asked. She went for the baby and Jhonia stared at her softly patting the newborn. She then smiled looking at Crissian.
“Maybe, do you not like it when or if I’m family in you?” Jhonia said, continuing her smile, then asked.
“Are you, are you family in me?” Christian asks her, then asks it as a question.
“What if I’m?” Jhonia asked, looking at her!Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.
“Why would you do that when you have Josephine.” Crissian said and Jhonia was silent for a moment.
“Maybe I’m having some doubts but that shouldn’t affect you, now should it?” Jhonia said as she remembered Daeviann and Lusinly telling her about the call they made to Josephine and a specific line of words, following it up with something’s Dr. Jea said.
“It’s not true. I know her too well, plus she would have told me. He is the monster who was constantly hurting her. I’m going to prove my little sisters innocent.”
“So, Josephine huh!”
“Working in Sky, so close to you how long?”
“Oh nothing. just a perfect opportunity to whatever she got up her sleeves.”
“But what’s a friendship without suspicion? Am going now.” Jhonia said to her with a smile and left after remembering.
“Suspicion? Why would you be suspicious of her?” Crissian asked after Jhonia had left!
…
Jhonia opens the door and enters the house meeting Nearce gaze who is coming down the stairs.
“Ah… I should have thought this through, well, I had to face him… Just hate doing it.”
Jhonia sighs and says to herself, Nearce quickly went down to her as she closed the door saying.
“Hate what?” He asked startling Jhonia a bit, she stamped on his foot! Nearce grimace from the pain.
“Don’t creep up on me, I might hurt you out of fear. At least that’s what I’m going to say, when the officers come.” Jhonia said to him and stated! Nearce didn’t understand what she meant so he stared at her confusingly.
“Jhonia, you’re here. Come let me hug you.” Mrs. Pinnock said with a smile before she added with open arms. Jhonia proceeded with walking away when Nearce grabbed her arm, Jhonia didn’t react with any form of displeasure instead she stood there waiting.
“What do you want?” Jhonia asked as she suddenly felt disgusted by him.
“I will come to you after you finish speaking with mom.” Nearce said to her Jhonia, who chuckled softly.
“I might be busy, but I look forward to it. Mr. Pinnock.” Jhonia said to him and walked off from him to his mother.
“Did he bother you or say something I should know about?” Mrs. Pinnock asked while they shared their hug.
“No, don’t worry. I no longer allowed him to get to me, and I’m not desperate to be loved so it’s okay. By the way, I asked Crissian to let me have her baby for the weekend. Do you want to stop by for any chance?” Jhonia responded to her, telling her not to worry and why she shouldn’t as she, Jhonia is not desperately in need of loving. Then ask after telling her what she plans to do for the weekend.
“Okay. Should I stop by willingly or are you asking me to?” Mrs. Pinnock said to her and asked.
“Maybe, both. I’m going to clean up and return to speak with you.” Jhonia said and they both shared a soft giggle, as she then said pulling back from their hug.
“I think you should speak with me first and then shower, just remove the coat for now.” Mrs. Pinnock said to her and smiled.
“Okay.” Jhonia replies by removing the coat.
…
They went and sat on the couch where Mrs. Pinnock began speaking.
“Someone paid a lot of money to the cop who was in charge of your parents’ case. I went looking for him not actually I paid someone to but then I found out he died two days after you visit your uncle, something is right about all this.” Mrs. Pinnock explained to Jhonia.
“Take it slow I’m not asking you to stop for I too want the truth so for now let’s just take it slow. If he died, I’m not sure this person is someone we should just go at! He’s still alive for all I know, as he made sure to fine me for paying off my parents’ deaths. Even when my uncle was involved I don’t think it’s just a coincidence that I was left to live and that he or she knew where I was.” Jhonia said to her to move slowly about all of it, referring to the cop that is dead and that person is not an easy target. (The person her parents owed) saying he even knew where she was.
