Chapter 14 The Future Mrs. Jiang
Chapter 14 The Future Mrs. Jiang
He left in a hurry as if he couldn’t stand her overbearing attitude. So what if he needed money? Maybe no one would do such an unequal deal.
5 million for a year of marriage? She was too confident, wasn’t she?
Victoria Tan’s mood was complicated, but she didn’t have any reason to drag Oliver Jiang back. She didn’t even know his name nor how to write it.
She only remembered the vague pronunciation read by the robot.
Therefore, Victoria Tan didn’t say a word. It was only a transaction. They would meet at Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow morning by 9 AM. They had reached an agreement. So, there was no need to waste any more breath.
Seeing that the SUV was flooded by traffic, Oliver Jiang was so angry that he loosened his collar by force. He was suffocating that he didn’t feel like buttoning his collar at all. An indescribable emotion ran through his mind.
Just now in the car, he almost broke out. He almost held her down and tore her apart. She was a desperate woman who hated herself so much that she was willing to sacrifice her marriage over a mere transaction.
Compared to that pretentious woman, he was a humble man who accepted her contract for 5 million Yuan.
5 million Yuan.
“Young Master, how did you get off here?”
Jack Zhou had been following Victoria Tan’s car closely fearing that Oliver Jiang would encounter another accident. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Oliver Jiang calmed down his triggered heart and opened the back door the minivan. He rolled the window down and began to take off his clothes replacing his shabby upper clothes.
Jack Zhou asked while driving, “Young Master, where are we going now? Are we going back to the Jiang’s residence?”
Oliver Jiang was buttoning his shirt absent-mindedly. He typed on his phone and the robot said, “Prepare my personal material.”
“Eh? What for?” Jack Zhou asked.
“I’m getting married.” Oliver Jiang’s phone replied.
Jack Zhou messed up the driving for he was shocked. Oliver Jiang nearly bumped his forehead on the front seat.
He frowned. Today, two people around him had become bad drivers. They were so disappointing.
“I’m so sorry, Sir. Something’s wrong with my ears. Young Master, did I hear you right? Are you getting married? Seriously?” Jack Zhou repeated his question several times.
Oliver Jiang’s phone replied, “I don’t know about marriage procedure in China, but make sure to have my materials prepared before 9 AM tomorrow morning.”
“Oh.” he gulped and was speechless. After a while, he reacted, “What about chairman and madam?”
Oliver Jiang didn’t understand, “Do I need them to issue any material when I’m getting married?”
“No, Sir.” Jack Zhou sweated. This marriage seemed to be proceeding without the consent of all family members.
The son of Robert Jiang, the richest man in Jincheng and the CEO of Fenghua Entertainment, had not appeared in public. Even the media had not seen his face yet and the first major vent happened after returning home was his marriage.
Seeing that his boss stopped talking, he couldn’t help asking, “Who is our future Mrs. Jiang? Young Master, I need to be mentally prepared to face questions from chairman and madam.”
Oliver Jiang’s voice from the phone sounded very strange. It changed tone and sounded more electronic, “I don’t need to talk to them for the time being before I make it public. The same goes for the public. My information can be written as unmarried for the time being. Everything goes with the flow.”
He would sign a 5 million deal. He naturally had to listen to what his employer said. If she wanted to make it public and it would; and if she wanted to make it a secret then they would be secretly married. He suffered no loss in this deal.
Jack Zhou finally asked a critical point, “But, what about Miss Clara Zhan?”
He didn’t get his answer for a long time. Finally, he carefully looked through the rearview mirror and found his boss staring at the iPad.
The car stopped at Robin Mu’s Central Park Residence private apartment. He handed the iPad to Jack Zhou and went upstairs. There was a line on it, “But a camera of this model and give it to me together with the materials. Don’t tell anyone in the family that I have returned to Jincheng for the time being.”
Jack Zhou received his order. He couldn’t follow Oliver Jiang upstairs. He looked at the camera model. It was usually used by professional photographers and was expensive.
When did Oliver Jiang become interested in photography?
Since he was kidnapped, all his boss’ words and orders had become very strange.
Jack Zhou had a tough job. He had less than one day to prepare materials and camera needed for boss’ marriage. He didn’t waste his time. He started driving the car and headed to Civil Affairs Bureau.
“Michelle, is your key still in the third shoe on the right side of the shoe rack?”
Victoria Tan repaired her car and called Michelle Zhu, a college roommate and asked straight to the point.
“Damn it, Victoria. Your memory is so good!” Michelle dreamed of being a doctor since she was a child. Now, she was a doctor in Renxin Hospital.
Listening the crying baby on the phone and the noisy running and talking sounds, Victoria Tan’s heart tightened as she smiled, “Michelle, I’m going to Jincheng. I have nowhere to go. So, please, let me stay, will you?”
“Did you go back to Jincheng already?” when Michelle heard this, she went to a quiet corner and lowered her voice, “Do you come back to attend Senior Lu’s wedding? The last time I called you, I just wanted to tell you to stay out of it.”
They were college roommates and came from the same city, Jincheng. They shared a good relationship and Michelle herself witnessed all the love history of Victoria Tan.
She forced a smile, “Is there a way to do that? If he marries someone else, I can still turn a blind eye and pretend I never hear anything or that I don’t know it, but he wants to marry my sister. He will be there in the future family gatherings. I have to face this sooner or later.”
Michelle lost her temper as she gritted her teeth and cursed, “Damn Frank Lu! I really didn’t know that he was a serial cheater! I swear to god his honest and dignified appearance has fool us all!”
The more Michelle cursed, the angrier she became, “Your sixth cousin’s grandfather is a dean at Renxin Hospital. That serial cheater is really good at picking people. He will surely be promoted step by step later in the future. I think he has been waiting for such opportunity for so many years. It is more effective to marry your sixth cousin than to marry you.”
They broke up right after graduation. Her love was faced by a cruel reality. Even Victoria Tan lost to reality, let alone ordinary people.
Seeing that Victoria Tan didn’t speak, Michelle’s anger slowly eased. She might have said too much. She comforted her, “Well, thank you for not marrying that jerk. I hope that jerk’s sex life flop! As for you, I hope you will find a much better man!”
Victoria Tan simply replied, “You’re in the hospital now. People can hear you ill talking the grandson-in- law of the dean. I’m afraid your career as a doctor will come to an end. I just came back and hadn’t found a house yet. I’ll stay at your place for two days.”
After Michelle worked at Renxin Hospital, her family gave her a down payment to rent a small house. Victoria Tan lived there once. It was common for girls to live together after graduation.
Michelle said on the phone, “Victoria, promise me to stay for a day or two, okay? My man is on a business trip and will come back by next week. You’d better not let him see your beauty and sexy figure!”
She was surprised, “Michelle, what man? Why didn’t you tell me anything?”
“It’s only been three months. Three months, okay? Anyway, you were thousands miles away in Tibetan area. Do you think I will take my man on a flight to meet you? I’m still afraid of heights!” Michelle
explained.
Victoria Tan sighed, “Michelle, you’re so aggressive now. You have found your love and you throw your best friend away!”
“What?!” Michelle scolded back, “Do you think we’re the same? You spent five years with Frank Lu and went nowhere! By the way, I think Frank Lu is infertile. Otherwise, how can he gets away after seeing someone as gorgeous as you? If you have the opportunity, please do me a favor and ask him to visit the OBGYN to check his fertility!”
Just then, Victoria Tan arrived at Michelle’s house. She took the key and opened the door in trance.
When she opened the door, she saw a man standing in the living room changing his clothes with his back facing her. At that very moment, he was taking off his pants.
Hearing the voice at the door, the man looked back and saw Victoria Tan standing thee. He gave a loud cry in surprise, tripped over his pants and fell to the floor with a flop.
