Chapter 16: Meet Susan
"There is a new restaurant nearby.’ Paul said.
Neither of them mentioned what happened last night and the weirdness of this morning as nothing had happened.
Donna glanced out the window carelessly after sitting down while Adam was looking at them outside the window.
Donna was immediately unhappy and closed the car window.
"What happened?" Paul asked while turning around the car.
"Nothing.There are flies." Donna said.
Adam was the most disgusting fly she had ever seen.
Paul didn't respond, and continued to move gently towards the newly opened restaurant.
The two sat down by the restaurant's window.
"What do you want to eat?"
Paul passed the menu to Donna, "You can order."
Donna took the menu and asked the waiter in a low voice.
She ordered a few dishes that both of them liked, and finally asked Paul, "What would you like to drink?"
Because he would drive, the wine was excluded.
"The same as yours.’ Paul said flatly.
Donna ordered a glass of orange juice.
Donna blushed and said to the waiter, "Two glasses of orange juice.’ Before serving, Paul stared at Donna and asked, "You are worrying about something."
"No!"
Donna felt nervous and denied quickly.
Looking up at Paul's investigation eyes, she took a breath and said, "Give me some time first. Some scars were more painful after being torn again. She needed some time for the wound to heal.
A trace of concern flashed through Paul's eyes, and he said flatly, "Okay.Let's eat."
The environment of the restaurant was very good.
The elegant decoration and melodious music made people feel comfortable.
A smile gradually appeared on Donna's face.
"I'm going to the bathroom.’ Donna put down the drink in her hand and whispered to Paul.
Paul nodded, "OK!"
Donna got up and left, feeling relieved.
It had been a year.Maybe John had already forgotten her.Or maybe he had a new girlfriend.
This was be not bad.

The two were safe and sound, not disturbing each other.
"Donna? Is it coincidental that I can meet you in so many places?"
Susan who came out of the bathroom said sarcastically with a hand on her waist, "I didn't expect you to come to this high-end restaurant. Are you a waiter here?"
Donna looked at Susan coldly, making her took a step back in fear.
Seeing that, Donna suddenly smiled, "Are you here to apply for a waiter?"
Raised by her lazy parents, Susan had been vain and hated working hard since childhood.
However, she now appeared like a rich lady, which was very suspicious.
Donna didn't want to conflict with others, but she would fight back.
"Huh!"Susan sneered.
Seeing Donna who had no valuable jewelry all over her body, she sneered, "You are still so poor after so many years!"
Donna stepped forward and threatened Susan with her eyes, "What about you? Tell me, who bought you these pieces of jewelry?"
"It has nothing to do with you!"
Susan said with a gloating look, "You don't have to pretend that you are rich now.The guy who brought you home yesterday must be a poor man, which could be judged from his look.I guess he is either a driver or a messenger.Tell me, what's the relationship between you? Do you not only have to sleep with him, but also give him money?"
Last night, Saxon took Donna away, so Susan naturally thought he was Donna's boyfriend.
Irritated by her words, Donna looked at Susan and asked, "So you will sleep with others after you receive the money?"
"You...’ Susan was furious, so she rushed towards Donna with her nails flying towards Donna's face.
Donna dodged it easily, grabbed her arm and pushed her away.
She said in a cold tone, "Don't think I won't fight back!"
She had learned how to protect herself and her mother during the days when she and her mother had to depend on each other since her father passed away.
Therefore, Susan could not hurt her.
"You'd better conduct yourself well. And don't show up in front of me again!"
Donna turned to leave without casting a look at Susan.Hearing Susan's hysterical scream, Donna smiled sarcastically.
