Chapter 12
ELISE’S POV.
I didn’t go down for dinner; I couldn’t stomach the thought of secing Rygan and together; it made something in me want to come out and claw them apart. I couldn’t even control my wolf anyway.
My pack made me weak; females were never taught anything but to be weak or never taught to control our wolves until we were mated and obeyed our mates’ wishes.
vou are:
“He’s going to reject you soon; you are nothing; you are weak; burden and a curse!” Those thoughts swarmed my head. I buried my head in my pillow, but a knock pulled me out of those thoughts. As I sat up, I wondered if Kaide was back.
Kaide was caring enough to bring me food early, but I could only stomach a half- sandwich and an apple. I trudged up to the door. “Kaide?” I called but was surprised to see who was at the door as I opened it, meeting face-to-face with Rygan.
He grunted the moment maybe because I called Kaide’s name.

“Why weren’t you at dinner?” he asked as he made his way into the room. I crossed my arms, watching as he walked to sit on the arms of an armchair.
“You know why,” I said with an audacious stare at Rygan, standing my ground to one of the most powerful wolves in all the realms, and here I was waiting for an answer.
“I wanted to tell you, but…”
“You wanted to tell me what? To the fact that you have a fiancé at home? that I was led on, and you marked me after having sex with me; you led me on!” I cried.
“I did not lead you on; I f**d you; that is it; we f**d,” he snarled, shutting me up, his pheromones so intense I could feel my insides flip from his aura.
The silence was gut-wrenching, like he knew what he had said was neither a hammer nor a d** nail; it was almost comical that I couldn’t help but laugh.
“That’s right, you f*d me and nothing else.”
“Elise..” Rygan started as he reached out to touch me, but I pulled away. I didn’t want my senses to be distracted by his touch.
“This was bound to happen; you are going to reject me in the next high moon, then our bond will be over; it can be done before your betrothed Alvira finds out,” I said firmly, and then this twisted fate of ours could finally stop.
“Elise–”
“I am deciding for both of us.” I retorted, but Rygan was too fast for me to keep up as he pushed us against a wall, his hands pressing on my shoulders as he leaned in. His breath hit my lips.
His breath was heavy, and the air thickened with tension. “This isn’t what I wanted,” he said.
“Make up your mind, Alpha Rygan, or are you greedy enough that you still want me in your bed but not as your mate? Sorry, but I have too much dignity left for that,” I argued.
Even though I knew that one kiss from his lips would bring down my walls, his stare was dark and menacing, but it all felt strange when he pulled back from me.
But I leaped in instead; maybe the dignity I spoke of was nonexistent as he caught my lips in a deep kiss. Our touches were fast and desperate; his hand snaked dress, our tongues fighting for dominance and warmth.

I felt his c***k hard and pulsing under my touch, and just like that, I was ready for him. As he slammed his girth to the hilt, I bit my lips and pressed my nails to his shoulders to contain my moan.
I let him f**k me against the wall, hard, fast, and feral, his hands pressing so hard on my thighs I knew they’d leave marks, my insides clenched hard on his mighty c**k, moaning from each rhythmic thrust.
“Rygan-agh ngh!” I moaned out, feeling both our climaxes coming to an end, the thrusts becoming faster, and our skin slapping in a sensual yet dirty way that had me secing stars.
“Come for me,” he muttered as I exploded, my body filled with sweat and heat, and he poured himself into me. It took me a few seconds to regain myself and my mind.
I pushed him away instantly, immediately recalling that I wasn’t supposed to be with this male; he wasn’t mine. “Please leave,” I muttered, still breathless from the sex.
“Vienna will wait for you in the clinic tomorrow to check your wounds and-” Something in me broke when he said that.
“To what? Check if there is a baby. Don’t worry, Rygan Al Andras; I know for a fact that if that happens, you’ll get rid of it,” I said. I wanted to make him feel hurt-feel a fraction of the betrayal I felt when Kaide talked about Alvira.
Even at this s**d moment, I wanted him to kiss me again, to tell me that it would be all okay, but Rygan walked out the door and not once looked back at me, leaving me an irreparable wreck.
“I’ve checked your pulse; it’s all good, and your shoulders are fully healed. It seems Alpha Rygan exaggerated the extent of your injury; I could barely see any scratch,” Vienna said as she stood up from her seat. I looked up at the female healer; she looked in her late twenties, quiet and elegant, a prodigy in the medical field, and one of the pack’s best doctors.
Even from here, I could hear the cheers of the whole pack, knowing that Rygan had gone to meet his people.
“Those loud meetups so early in the morning are not my thing, and besides, I’m more needed here; I like helping people,” she muttered, “And this is not the start of it; I’m pretty sure they will throw a banquet tonight, but I’d prefer here too,” she called, passing a pill bottle to Elise.
“I could tell you’re having trouble controlling your scent; this can help. Take it once a week until you can control the scent, especially when you want to go out in public. Some wolves aren’t as patient when they smell an omega scent,” she told me.
“Thank you so much.” I called grateful, and I appreciated Vienna’s efforts, especially for a stranger: “I admire you, Vienna; in my pack, the women are taught only to see, cook, and be there for our future mates; hell, I can’t even control my wolves or my scent, and I admire what you’re doing and how far you’ve come; females in my pack aren’t allowed near a healing table only to be bred.”
I could see Vienna’s gaze soften. “That isn’t what you’re made for; you’re not just a breathing machine,” she assured me, “and… It won’t hurt to take another apprentice; besides, it’d be a bragging right that I brought a silver night wolf and princess and had her be me.”
I couldn’t hide my surprise that she knew who I was. “H-how “I stuttered.
“Oh, come on, I’m not that slow, not to piece in anything, and I won’t tell anyone,” she assured me with a small smile.
Vienna left me as she had a few patients to attend to while her assistants helped. I knew I was hardly any good here.
I left the clinic to take a long walk into the main pack town, covering my face with a long hooded cloak. The markets and the beautiful homes and families I passed by made my heart ache.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
I walked farther than my destination until I reached a large arena. I heard grunts and loud cheers from inside; there were so many males gathered around watching an epic fight. A sparring lesson that had to do with the blackmoon wolf ritual.
And to my surprise, I knew the males who stood in the ring ready to fight each other- Kaide and Taz.
K**e seemed to have noticed me as he made a curt nod in greeting, but Taz, being a c**k*y-muscled Wolf, turned to look at me. I was stunned that he playfully winked at me.
The bell rang, and just like that, the fight began. I was immediately captivated, and things just got more interesting.
