Chapter 28
Chapter 28 First Money Negotiation Damien lound Clarissa in the study room on the second floor, She
was reading a novel. Damien knocked on the door and sald, “Come here. I have something to discuss
with you.”
Clarissa was startled. He probably wanted to talk about what happened that morning, Damien walked
toward his bedroom and Clarissa followed nervously. Upon entering his room, Clarissa looked around.
The size and extravagance exceeded her expectations. It was basically another luxury house.
Damien changed his clothes casually, unintentionally revealing his cight packs. It made Clarissa’s scalp
tingle for a moment. She quickly turned her head around. Dainien siniled creepily.
“What’s wrong? Are you shy? You’ve already had sex with me. Why are you acting all reserved now?
Were you pretending to like sex when you’re actually scared of it?”
Damien’s words clearly meant that she was addicted to sex. How could she not blush?
“I wasn’t.”
“You weren’t? I guess I’ve misinterpreted,” said Damien playsully. He had already changed into a gray
casual shirt. As he was buttoning it up, he said, “You must move in soon and live with me.”
“Huh?”
Clarissa was surprised.
She had guessed this would happen, but she was still astonished when Damien mentioned it. “What?
In my grandpa’s eyes, we’re husband and wife. What would he think if you were to live elsewhere?
That you’re cheating on me or we’re living apart? I don’t want him to be stressed.”
Clarissa understood his logic. After all, five million dollars was not a small amount. Suddenly, she was
reminded of Zach’s wish. Regardless, she could not get all the money right away.
It would definitely take some time.
Clarissa toughened up and licked her lips. “You’ll need to pay more.”
Damien paused.
“How much? 10 thousand dollars per night?”
Clarissa made some calculations. If a computer was four thousand dollars, two hundred of them would
require eight hundred thousand. Hall a million was not enough.
She decided to bite the bullet.
*Thut too slow Ghe me one million dollars now and I’ll grove over by tonight.” Their very still two!utions

Clarisu stood straight
“If welne together, I’ll be in constant fear of being exposed. It’s stressful.” “Will you stop working if I
don’t give you the money?” Damien continued asking coldly. Clarissa answered in a nghteous tone,
“Yes. Your grandfather is just a stranger to me and that’s a fact.”
When Clarissa spoke to Damien last Thursday, everything she said was spot on. Now that his
grandtather was there, she accepted the challenge and demanded a higher price. Damien had no room
for negotiation
It was the first time Clans had negotiated money with him.
She raised the bar to a million dollars immediately. This woman was cruel.
“Aren’t you scared that I’ll divorce you?”
Damien observed her blushing face
“Your grandfather likes me a lot. He’ll surely be angry with you if that happens.”
A hint of slyness flashed across Clarissa’s cyes.
“Do you think you’ve comered me? Ain la rich fool?”
Clarissa said without any shame, “No. It’s because I’m worth every penny.”
Damien took a deep breath. He transferred a million dollars to her with a dark expression Then he
groaned, “Sleep here tonight and bring your belongings over tomorrow. Make sure my grandpa doesn’t
see anything.’
Clarissa breathed a sigh of relief. Now, she could buy two hundred computers!
During dinner, she and Damien’s grandfather chatted happily. In a way, she was the latter’s happy pill.
Damien’s grandfather even said, “I don’t mind living here for a few years with Clary.” Clarissa said while Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
smiling, “You deserve to live a long life, grandpa.” Damien was staring at her through her peripheral
vision. It looked as if he was saying, “If he lives a long life, we’ll never be able to get a divorce.”

When she saw Zach’s diary, she felt conflicted. In the end, she placed the diary into one of the luggage
which had a lock. Damien was never interested in her stuff. Even if he was, he did not know the
password. In the evening, Clarissa sat in Damien’s car and headed to his villa. She brought her
luggage upstairs when the old man was not paying attention. After unpacking her clothes, she placed
the locked luggage in an unnoticeable corner on the balcony.
