Despicable Roommate

My love

Lynn’s POV

As I walked through the door of the cozy restaurant, I spotted Alec immediately siting at the bar. He had wanted to pick me up but I had insisted on getting there by myself so I had taken a taxi. Alec’s face lit up when he saw me and he stood up, a broad smile spreading across his handsome face. He was looking so damn good. He walked over to give me a hug.

“You look amazing,” he said.

I smiled. “You too.”Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

We made small talk as we waited for our table. When it was ready, a waitress came and led us there. After getting our orders, she went to the back. The restaurant was filled with the sound of clinking glasses and a low hum of conversation. Our table was by the fireplace which provided a warm glow to the room.

“I love this place,” I said, taking a sip of red wine. “We should come here more often.”

Alec nodded in agreement, taking a bite of his steak. “The food is perfect and the ambience is very relaxing. I’m hooked and we will definitely return to this place.”

I picked up and fork and knife to cut into my chicken. “I would love that.”

We continued to eat in comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s company and the delicious food. I was grateful to be with Alec. He always made me feel loved and appreciated. He was the perfect man for me and I was lucky to have him. Occasionally, I would glance at his handsome face, still unable to understand why a guy like him would chose me when he could have the hottest girls in college.

After finishing our meal, we were given desert, a rich chocolate cake. It tasted amazing and we both loved it. When we finished, I leaned back on my chair with a contented sigh.

“This was the perfect date,” I said, reaching across the table to take Alec’s hand. “Thank you for bringing me here.”

He squeezed my hand and smiled. “Anytime, sweetheart. I love you.”

My heart swelled at his beautiful words. “I love you too.”

As we walked into Alec’s apartment building, Alec wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close. “I missed this so much. It’s so good to have you back.”

“Me too,” I replied, leaning my head against his shoulder. It felt like it we had been separated for years yet it was only a few days. “I love spending time with you.”

I stood on my toes to wrap my arms around Alec’s neck. Pulling him closer, I pressed my lips to his, kissing him with a fierce urgency. My hands roamed over Alec’s body, pulling him closer until it was tightly pressed up against mine. I could feel the heat rising between us and knew it was time for us to be alone. We broke apart and Alec took my hand, leading me towards his apartment.

When we reached his apartment, he unlocked the door and led me inside. “Wanna watch a movie?”

“Boy, please.” I said, hugging him. He wrapped his lean strong arms around me and leaned down to capture my lips in a slow, sensual kiss. I had been fantasizing about this moment all day long and was relieved it was finally happening. It had been a very long time since we had explored each other’s bodies.

As soon as the bedroom door closed behind us, I got rid of my dress and shoes. Alec took me into his arms and planted a soft kiss on my eager lips. His lips teased, touching the corners of my mouth before moving to suck lightly on my bottom lip. He framed my face with his hands and kissed me harder.

As the kiss deepened, we fell onto the bed, our bodies entwined as we explored each other with tender caresses. Alec removed my bra and stared at my apples. I liked how he looked and touched them. It was like he was string at the most beautiful things ever.

“I like how your eyes go hazy when you want me,” Alec said, lowering himself down. His lips found the sensitive spot on my neck. I lay back against the pillows and moaned, wishing the feelings evoked by his touches could last forever. I could feel my self-control slipping away with every movement of his lips.

“Hey, is it bad that I’m glad we live in separate apartments now?” I asked some time later. Alec was spooning me on the bed.

Alec smiled. “No, I think it’s a good thing as well. Living together as couple is crazy. I don’t think we were ready for that. I know that if we had continued to live together, our final break up would eventually come faster. We saw each other every day. The only reason we survived as because we were still in the honeymoon phase of our relationship.”

“I know, right. I was getting tired of having to clean up after you all the time.”

“And I was getting of you complaining about my friends all the time. It was like we were married”

“This is so much better,” I said. “And less stressful. I also love that you have no kitchen equipment. I don’t have to cook.”

Alec chuckled. “Don’t be too happy. I plan to acquire some but don’t worry, you won’t have to cook if you don’t want to. Besides, I’ll be cooking as well. I’ve realized how hard it is to live without that skill after living alone. I’m going to take some lessons. In about a month, I’ll be making you dinner, baby.”

I smiled. “This separation did more good than harm. Instead of wanting to take revenge on Jessie, I should be thinking of rewarding her.”

“We needed this, Lynn. It has helped us think and talk about our relationship. We can establish boundaries and love each other more maturely.”

“Yes, that’s true.”

“I love you, Lynn.”

“I love you too, babe.” I said. I moaned when I felt his hand touching my breast, his fingers tracing my sensitive nipple and starting a sweet fires allover my body. I turned to look at him and he kissed me.

Alec was the one I loved, and I was ready to take the journey with him. I didn’t know what the future held in store, but I hoped there was be a lineup of good things waiting for us. All I knew was that he made me happy and I wanted to be with him. That was enough for me.
